Meet at C.R.A.N.K. MOB Park at 8:30pm every Tuesday
Ride at 9:00pm or so...
Ride Leaders are XL, Cesar, and TT Boy (Please Respect the Ride)
NO STEALING, NO TAGGING, NO BULLSHIT or you will be asked to leave by the ride leaders.
Stay behind the music and read the Midnight Ridazz "Rulezz of the Ride" on the bottom of this page. We take that stuff serious and want to have a fun and safe bicycle ride for everyone.
With much thought, the powers to be have decided that we need more ridin in our ride. For the entire month of March, Taco Tuesdays will be a sober ride. We ask all ridaz and members of the club to refrain from drinking alcohol on Taco Tuesdays for the next four weeks. If you are totally against this new policy, we understand and ask that you do NOT attend if you are going to drink alcohol. Thank you all.

It think its about time Taco Tuesday started being more about being the great ride it could be instead of the constant stops it currently is known for. I have never left a Taco Tuesday ride and said "Damn, that was a great ride!" Maybe if it sticks, I'll attend one in the summer. Drinking or not, this ride could be better if it had a passion for distance. I applaud your decision.
Not to mention that when the undead apocalypse rears its dessicated head, we'll all have to be sober enough to fire a weapon straight whilst maneuvering two wheels through a sea of abandoned vehicles.

Hey XL... I'm newer to the ridazz, and ride a 36" wheel unicycle. Wondering about the speed of your ride.
Can do 15-17mph in sprints, 12-13mph all night. Stayed with the pack on all four legs of the fmly ride a couple Saturdays ago. Do you think the pace of your ride would fit me?
Also, are there any LONG descents (I'm spin-limited and can get dropped on these)
Also, Reseda to the Sea kicked my ASS last weekend (although I made it...heheh)
Hey XL and the TT Gang. Thanks for a great time last night! Waching those two-wheelers cross the finish line at 30mph ALMOST made me want a second wheel.
Next time maybe I'll try to bring my own competition... I'm not the only guy in LA that rides the Uni...
231. A bicycle is a device upon which any person may ride, propelled exclusively by human power through a belt, chain, or gears, and having one or more wheels. Persons riding bicycles are subject to the provisions of this code specified in Sections 21200 and 21200.5.
Yes, the most recent VC is different than it used to read... "two or more wheels". They want this to enable them to get unicyclists off the sidewalk (not that I would want to anyhow).

Ridiculous though, is the statement "through a belt, chain, or gears" that they left unedited. My cranks are fix-mounted to my hubs. I guess I still don't have to walk my unicycle when the sign says "no bicycles" after all.

This report presents a mischaracterization of the Taco Tuesday ride. The extent of the reporters' investigation was looking at a few youtube videos, interviewing a cop and reporting from an empty park. Why were no riders were interviewed? Also, the reporter even got some basic information about the ride wrong. TT is not a monthly ride. This was yellow journalism and shoddy reporting at best.Taco Tuesday is positive cultural gathering that encourages art, community, healthy living thru bicycling and having low cost fun by utilizing public spaces. As a rider, you get see and explore parts of LA that you could never experience in a car. TT is inspirational and has helped produce music and art that continues to promote its positive message. The ride has its own theme song that has become so popular it is played on other Midnight Ridazz rides. The art TT has produced has been displayed in museums and art galleries.
I AM IN LOVE, WHO IS THIS AWESOME PERSON?????????
