I put up this thread to talk about what I really like about Midnight Ridazz and all of the other related social rides and activities.
Okay, here's one. I met a guy on a bike at Union Station on Saturday afternoon. He said that he just got off of the train from San Francisco. He said that he was headed home to Tempe, AZ. But, his train didn't leave until the following day at 2 pm. He asked if I knew of anything fun going on, and if I knew of a safe place to crash for the night. I couldn't invite him to my house, but I did invite him over to the Bicycle Film Festival. He met a bunch of people there, and made some new friends. I was excited to tell him about riding bikes in L.A., and all of the cool people who are getting together on their bikes.
On the way to BFF, we happened upon MR. Rollers. He was going the same way.
Our new Arizona Bike friend, got clued in about the Glow thing at the beach. That seemed right up his alley. So, he rode down with directions that another rider gave him. Maybe he met up with Crank Mob, too.
I have so many stories like this. I meet someone solely based on the fact that we are on bikes. And, I rarely ride around in L.A. without seeing someone I know on a bike.
The roof is done. I helped on that in Dec. Plans have changed on my going back to help finish up. I will have a shorter trip....and I will leave sometime in the near future.
I like riding PC's beautiful Bianchi, every chance I get.
I often run into people I know while just randomly riding.
I like riding; I like the community of great people that I've met in the last few years, where people are accepted regardless of their age, race, level of education, economic status, or sexual orientation.
I met a guy on the glow ride who rode his bike from florida. He ran into us along the road in LA and ended up getting a place to crash with some riders.
Fool was a BIKE GANGSTAR! .. he had four panniers and a cigarette in his mouth.
my favorite part as well about all this is that any part of town i ride in, at any time of the day, on any given day, i stand a chance to recognize someone i know riding past!
it happens so often as this point i'm starting to feel like i live in a small town... except for all that there traffic everywhere.

I like these dreams I've been having. I had a dream that there was like 5 ridaz in my bed after a ride and then I started thinking that that wasn't very good, so I actually woke up and turned on the light to see if someone was in my bed. Then last night I had a dream that someone I don't like was talking about crimanimalz and I got mad.
i like to wake up in the morning and eat a bowl of trix's while watching half-baked......
oh we're talking about the rides and what makes us happy...
well i just like riding my bike i've been doing this for 6 years now on the same bike...... and then midnight rides came along and saw that people rode together which is pretty cool..
I like that bicycle love is contagious. My mom left a really excited voicemail for me last night saying that she and my dad just bought bicycles, and want to ride them every day, like me. They are 65 years old, and I've never seen my dad on a bike before. GO MOM & POPZ!
I'm the only one in my family that rides a bike, drives a truck, and a few other, select things.
I would like to see the ride more, but then again, I like being unique like that.
i've made lasting and enduring bonds and friendships with many of you. i have loved and i have been loved. i have found love and lost love... but such is life. it wouldn't be life without all of these things. all in all, it's been great. i love all you guise.
I like when someone sees a rida on the side of the road, and he says "Hey, everything ok?"
I like it better when the answer is "Yep, I'm good."
I like it when I see a rida on the street, during the daytime, and I recognize them from rides.
I like it when one person on a ride goes "WOOOOP!" and then another person goes "woooooOOOOOPP!!" and then someone else goes "KakakkakakaKKKAKAKkkaa!" and then someone else goes "Art, art, arrrrttt, art!" And then we have a menagerie. Or our own version of that Bees song "Chicken Payback."
CHICKEN do the chicken back, back, pay the chicken back, back pay the chicken back DO THE CHICKEN PAY BACK. CAMEL do the camel back ....
And I like it when the ride stops and the music gets loud and the beer comes out and the dancing begins. I won't deny it. I do so like to dance.

I like Roadblock's silly laugh. I like LaHarr's calm smile.
I like that Spiraldemon had the hottest chick that I have ever seen around any of the riders (myself excluded), come to a party and he blows her off. She brings clothes to go on a ride, (she was dressed to the nines already e.i. high heels, skirt, high end clothes) and he suggest that she goes home. Straight GAME PIMPIN'! His looks are subjective, but he has you all beat in the category of "bringing the hottest looking girl around."
I like that no matter stupid things get, Joe Borfo is still amused by it all.
I like that a certain person on these threads goes to sleep every night thinking how much they despise me. Oh the Power I posses.
I like that I wake up early to finish my homework in time and instead of starting it after I eat some cereal I get online to check out this damn forum.
Honestly, I'm not much of a big party ride person, but I do like how, at the end of those big party rides, the city is a little more open than it was before. It's not like the end of a regular party where you're expected to "go home" or whatever. The energy is still there in the streets. You could ride anywhere you like and still be at the party. You could stay right where you are and still be at the party. You are at the party even on your way home, as long as you are in the streets, riding.
And this is totally unrelated, but honest to Bike God, this song came on just as I was about to post this comment, which seems oddly appropriate:
