KOGI BBQ

Has anyone tried their food? Supposed to be really great tasting and low prices....It's an upscale Korean BBQ roving location food truck.
Their website is up to date with their locations. Tonight they're at the Sunset Junction at Hyperion and Sunset from 6-8pm.
http://kogibbq.com/
We definitely should try to take the bike rides to where they are and show them we're a large group and possibly have them make a stop at one of the larger 2nd Friday rides such as the HEAVY METAL RIDE 3 in April same way the tamale lady catered the Toy Ride.

i think im kind of offended that they put korean food into a tortilla.

oh ok im offended cause barleye called it upscale.
i think slapping a tortilla on it and serving it in a roach coach is somewhat of a downgrade.
upscale korean places are super duper uper uper expensive. that bbq place on olympic and western runs about $70 a person.

you really should check out the food. Many people I've spoken too say it's really good. read the website too....
here's the latest blog entry:
Thanks to all your loving support and hungry bellies, Kogi BBQ has leveled up with Premier Meats!
Same $2 taco prices, same crazy good specials - only now we’re loading that hot grill with meat from the same purveyors of LA’s top restaurants and hotels. For all you bloggers, Yelpers and foodies out there, you’ll be chowing down on the kind of chicken, short rib and pork that’s gracing the tables of AOC, Lucques, Providence, Animal and more.
Why?
Because a beautiful taco starts with the beautiful work of a quality butcher.
It’s our way of saying thank you and loving you back. Prospero año, taco fiends!
Love and tacos,
Aliiiiiiiiiiiiiice

The line for Kogi last night in DTLA was incredibly long (this picture doesn't really capture all of it). And once you order, there's a second line; waiting for your food to arrive.

I finally got to try what this Kogi truck has to offer last night, let me begin by saying the line wasnt as long as they make it seem. It took about 20 min to get the food. The tacos were really really good, granted i was blown out of my mind and had a huge appetite to begin with, but seriously delicious, the way it all comes together in ur mouth. Who would have thought that koreans and mexicans (food) can come together so beautifuly....
