Funny you ask. Late one night, I came downstairs for midnight pizza and I hear a 'pleeaeaaeeeet!' sound whimpering out of my fireplace. I called my butler, Gavin, to check it out while I downed my slices. While I waited upstairs in fright, it dawned on me how unhappy The Goat had been since he broke his leg during a failed suicide attempt at one of last year's Wetside Rides. An hour later, Gavin reported back that The Goat killed himself in a welding accident at a
dumpster and also that we don't have a fireplace or a second floor.

I believe in population (un)control. We need more people. More people means more hands to make more Pizzas. What we do have is an issue of ethics. So, we can all suppose the Earth has the ability to support that many people, thats the easy part. The real question is
Can the Earth support that many Pizzas? This is a question for which I urge many to consider. Obviously, CRANK MOB Pizza Appearances have shown the capacity for raw, unearthly fun. Some describe it as "Godly". But, do we really want 1,000 Wild Pizzas attacking starving communities throughout the world under the guise of Martyrdom?

Although I have been in SKIDMARXXX since 2002, I consider myself to be bicyculturally-raised on the Westside of LA, having my hands and super sexy thighs all up in so many sweet sweet pies. Cubcamp being the most delicious pie of all. Cubcamp has played a huge role in founding other rides on the Westside, so I really equate the two. As a fun-fast-experiment, we very quickly became very comfortable doing stupid stuff on bikes in public, since we had regular rides/experiments/freakshows and lived/grew so close together so fast. Its not Wolfpack, not Ridazz, not Crank Mob. We ride together, we eat together, climb roofs together, fight together, some have even slept together, ahahahah...
Cubcamp is SO MUCH more than a ride.
ALSO
As I learn more about the WS history, like Westsidazz, its apparent that WS has always had creativity and high-energy so I am proud to push forward. I think other factors of Westside awesomization of biciculture are three things: 1- the generally boring terrain/riding conditions, 2-the isolation from other "cultures" like the Echo Park-standard Ridazz rides and 3-the social class division on the WS of people that ride bikes and live with 3 roommates (us) and people that can afford to purchase the $1.5m condo housing (them)...SO
THE WESTSIDE HAS TO BE FUN OR DIE.

Woohoo Marcus! I remember meeting Marcus on the Cubcamp #1 ride. He started w/ his mtb (Was it the furry one?) and I was finally happy that I wasn't the last one anymore. Dude... his second ride... slightly ahead of me... 3rd... He got his fixie/road bike and I no longer had company.

SKIDMARXXX are homies. I am in SKIDMARXXX because I wrote graffiti and generally destroyed property with most of them, and we have a fucking powerful crew. In 1999-2003, two good friends moved from TX to NYC and saw things like Bike Kill and NYC CM, and they came up with SKIDMARXXX. For the most part, SKIDMARXXX is based on Brooklyn/Austin, nothing like MR. Its a crew of creative punks looking to fuck shit up....So I move here, solo. The thing is, nothing like MR exists in ANYWHERE but LA. So I am by default a one-man crew here. SKID-MARCUS.
I think maybe its like this; My appetite for stupidity, destruction, exhausting creativity, thats all SKIDMARXXX born. My tastes for riding hard, professional fun, obeying the laws of physics, thats Midnight Ridazz. I am me, I am influenced and I influence. Thats all.

12 / 2007, Marcus in LA finds a pizza costume in the trash across the street from his apartment, and every day is Halloween.

I FIRST GOT TO KNOW MARCUS ON ONE OF THE FIRST AFTER-RIDE PARTY-RIDES. THE RIDE WAS THE 3RD ANNIVERSARY MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ. IT WAS THE NIGHT BORFO BROKE HIS KNEE & BUSTED SOME RIBS. I SPRAINED MY WRIST IN FRONT OF THE PIONEER CHICKEN, BUT SAVED MY BEER. A BUNCH OF US WERE DRINKING BEER AT PLAZA DE LA RAZA. DINGO TALKED THE CORNER GAS STATION TO SELL US BEER AT 3AM. BORFO AND I WERE STANDING ON TOP THREE METAL 50 GALLON TRASHCANS, AND MARCUS WAS STANDING ON OUR SHOULDERS RINGING THE BELL WITH HIS HANDS. I'M SURPRISED WE DIDN'T FALL AND KILL OURSELVES. WE WERE BROKEN ENOUGH AS IT WAS. IT WAS THE FIRST OF MANY MANY MEMORABLE NIGHTS WITH SKIDMARCUS.

We like where we are, actually. Ridgeway is not too far of from being a bike palace of loveylovelove! Free-range vegans, a prize-fighter Armenian bodyguard, and two RoTW's ! What more can you ask for? We have a frog moving into the closet tonight, we'll see how that works out...
I suppose if we had some lilCubzz we'd have to keep them in the skylight-nook in the public bathroom. Yeah, thats the only place children would fit, jammed into a nook 10' above the floor.

Yes indeed, Mr. Freud! I went back and found this thread a couple months ago when I was bumming out. Now I know why! I don't live up to my delusions of self-worth, so require others to admire my attempts to do so, just so I can hang on for another day. The problem is that admiration has little to do with my reality, and in fact perhaps my accomplishments are few! I am a lie!
I remember looking for this thread and how it wasn't searchable by "ROTW". I liked that. Now I know it just played into my false "belief that I'm special or unique"! What a closed case narcissicist!
