no im just questioning at's decision to pick beverly glen, there are shorter, steeper climb, there are longer steeper climbs, there are longer less steeper climbs, and there are shorter less steeper climbs, ALL that have less traffic than beverly glen.
seriously, tired of waiting, i dont care what people say. lets do this shit today. if you're as fast as you say you are, we should be able to get this done in 15 minutes. take a break from your studies.
only reason AT wants sit a month and half from now is because he KNOWS hes not ready, and hes doing his best to come up with an excuse for losing.
but seriously, if he shows up, hes a winner in my book.
"@_iJunes... wtf mate that doesn't make any sense, go bike to the moon today or something, that's probably what 8500' of climbing on a two lane road..."
GRUDGE RIDE recap: Great turnout! It's been a long time since I had this much fun at a ride. I loved all the friendly competition and the barbecue at the end (roast veggies on a stick)!
The main event, which we were looking forward to for over a month, was exciting! I just hope nobody lost too much money on the bet. It was a huge relief to have some closeure to this rivalry especially since all the fighting and drama and board hacking caused Midnight Ridazz to shut down! But it was for the best I guess, since Roadblock went ahead and finally replaced it with MR 2.0 !!! This new version is awesome... a real calendar, easier to upload photos, the site even works on all browsers! Anyways, it'll be a couple of days before I post my video of the winner. Right now I gotta rest up for the race tomorrow.
If I'm still in town, I'll be more than happy to draw finish and start lines, and people can hop in my car to make them as Elaborate as possible.
Secondly, I'd be more than happy to block traffic from the rear driving at a slow pace. I think however, it'd be much more awesome if someone had a moped for the breakage of traffic.
Personally, I have to agree I don't know if racing the next day is really an accept-able excuse in this case especially if its just a cat5/4 race. This is 3 miles junu you seem like you will recover ok.
if all else fails I call out roadblock to a duel of the original midnight hustle organizers (i'm taking the place of Marcus/Richie). That should be fun...
We rolled Beverly Glen last night on Cub Camp. Time trial to the top. Gary and JJ were up about 30sec to a minute faster than me, I was third in 16:48, and Ryan Van Meter was hot on my heels in 17:00.
Got home, took off my bag, and realized it was 15 pounds. I'm ready for this. 4/11 should be renamed "murder stomping day."
