I'm not surprised that some climate inaction bozos are resorting to dodgy theological arguments. The whole "climate skeptic" thing has practically become a religion at this point anyway. It's an exercise in ignoring one piece of evidence after another just so they can maintain their ideological purity.
The realization that this home of ours
could just be a cold ball of rock floating in space is probably the most compelling reason to preserve what we can while we're still here.
But anyhow, people who try to frame this argument in terms of absolutes are talking out their asses.
