Need Photographer Sunday Night

Theres a boat ride event on for a rotary club Sunday night in the Marina. Its a small ceremony, and they need a photographer. They asked me, but I am busy Sunday night. I believe its like 3 hours +.
I told them I'd ask around for a photographer, and that the pay would be around $100.
I'd like someone with a pro-dslr and flash. Its an easy night, and there's a good chance for repeat work if you get in good with this community.
Let me know

I'm available that Sunday. =) I shoot with a Nikon D80 and use a SB-600 flash. This will be more than enough for this event.

Professional photographer must be the most popular occupation on this site. Theres so many! Why is that?

+1 on the pay.
The rental of your camera would cost more.
On the other hand i'm all for getting what you can when you can.
Its a recession YO!
Just make sure they don't expect you to shoot AND process those images for $100

Skid> this community is very rich in talented artists/photographers/writers
My non bike community is everything business/doctors/lawyers and lately local politicians. I'm the closest thing to a professional photographer in my community and my primary skills are real estate and finance. I just so happen to have a camera w/ me very often.
Mike is the man for the job.

"oh, duh. its cuz you dont have to work."
@skid
well that's a very fucking dick thing to say??
how is it not work?
sure it's not back breaking labor but it's not some walk in the park either. shit is way stressful when ur running around trying to get legitimate photos. you need tons of patience and need a thick skin because you deal with assholes here and there. and the mind numbingness of staring at a screen and doing post work on photos. that shit is tiring.
and considering that there are so many photographers on here that do make a living shooting photos and for you to say it's not really a job, man, thats pretty insulting.

If you got a problem with the job, please direct it towards me. You have my email, you have my phone number. I'm more than happy to discuss any issues you might have over the phone or in person. As for this thread, consider it dead. Jobs been given, details been worked out.
