Bicycle Tools?

I'm not exactly sure where to purchase new or used bike tools such as chain breakers, crank bolt extractors, chain bolt tools, pedal wrenches.
Does anyone know if there's even a store where you can go and walk in????

try calling your local bike shop. it's cheaper to visit the co-ops and use their tools.

True, but I'm tired of having to commute to the kitchen or the oven just for a simple chain breaker.
Plus, what if someone needs to switch out a bent crank on the ride cause someone didn't hold their line.
Or even worse, someone getting nudge by a speeding vehicle. Then how do we help that person if no one has the tool?

Check out bikeisland.com. They have a lot of good deals on lots of stuff and don't charge for shipping.

That's a pretty comprehensive tool kit and the price is not too bad.

If your lbs doesn't have any for sale, you could probably ask them to order the tools you need. But most will have at least the chain cutter (which is on some multi-tools) and pedal wrench for sale.

buy nice or buy twice.
avoid the linked tool kit. you shouldn't try to skimp on getting a set of tools together. it's better in the long run to buy it piece by piece with quality, rather than getting a grip of garbage. go for park or pedro's tools.
