Friends of the Los Angeles River Clean-Up Ride

 The Friends of the Los Angeles River are hosting their annual river clean-up event.
This ride meets at the Long Beach Bike Station and will ride six miles up the river trail to the Del Amo Metro Station clean-up site.
There are several sites along the river, so if you live north of L.B. and don't want to ride to the meet up, check the folar website
for other clean-up sites.
We meet at 8:15 am and roll out at 8:30.
The clean up event is from 9:00 am to noon.
Bring:
Gloves
A hat
Sun screen
Sturdy shoes
Power bars or other energy food
Drinking water
There will be live blues music by Bernie Pear...

20 miles of fixed, single speed, BMX, or cruiser friendly riding in the beautiful low desert on Historical Route 66. 10 miles from Roy's Cafe out to the RoadRunner's Retreat Restaurant and 10 miles back, 300 ft of easy climbing on the way out, 200 ft on the way back. SINS and SPROCKETS 2 yr anniversary ride (the return to chinatown)

 SINS and SPROCKETS is a social bicycle club riding the third Friday of every month. We will be meeting at the Chinatown Metro station at College and Spring streets. Meeting at 8:30 Riding at 9:30 sharp!!
Anyone running late there will be some extra maps on the bench at the Metro station.
Rides are a slower paced 15 to 20 miles ending at the start point. Bring locks, spare tube, and lights.
