This is a Choose your own Adventure ride. We will be listening to audio snippets from a Choose your Own Adventure book and decide as a group what to do. We will then ride to the chosen destination and find out what dangers await us. If we win, we will end up at the Santa Monica Pier... and if we fail, we will die a merciless death at the hands of the Yeti. FAIL.

Choose Your Own Adventure books were the rage! but my favorite favorite choose your own adventure style books were the TSR D&D series known as Endless Quest

I don't remember that one RB. I was a big D&D, AD&D playa back in Jr. High. Had all the books. Loved the game. Played a little Gamma World too but that was about it. Also, never made it to a D&D convention. Lived too far away.

I still have all my D&D shit including almost the entire collection of Endless Quest books the 4 D&D box sets, the Drangonlance Chronicles 4 book set AD&D books and countless dice sets!!
The funny part is that my friends and I would spend all this time drawing and creating all these wild asses characters rolling the dice and figuring out thier powers etc but then when it cam down to actually role playing a game no one wanted to be dungeon master so we went outside and played tag or kickball as normal 10 year olds should be doing....

Sorry my wheel-folding shenanigans ended the night as it did. A lame way to end a ride. But thank you thank you thank you to everyone who helped get me rolling again!
