and so damn true after what I saw on the group rides with y'all, that I've done as of this year.
After going looking up this,

I just dug up the recent memories of the Valley, PDX, Vegas, and Hell, even Columbus, OH rides I went on.
The tight-fitting, Seinfeld-pirate shirts, the mothballed fleets of fixed-gear/widow-makers, the swarming of the art-galleries-even-though-they've-no-previous-experience-beyond-six-months.
Throughout, these threads, I've heard many a reference to this sect of persons, and didn't know what to make of it.
And then I found out I was face to face with these people on multiple occasions.
As far as myself, no style for me.
My 20 dollar Dickies and 2 dollar wifebeaters keep food on the plate.
And Pabst, yeah it's a cheap beer, but if you drink, it don't make you cool.
That Simpson episode where Barney tries to get Moe to get him a drink at the hospital with that 15 min-chip should sum it up.
