Even if it doesn't pass, I think it's still important that it's even on the ballot. It will be interesting to see what the numbers are. Could be struck down by a large margin or it might actually show that more Californians are ready to have a serious conversation about marijuana. It's definitely a change in the times.

if it passes, it will be a signal to the federal government to stand down. I have faith that the feds will actually stand down too...

Attorney General Eric Holder is warning that the federal government will not look the other way and federal agents will "vigorously enforce" against anyone carrying, growing or selling it.
This will be interesting whatever does happen.
