Hey all...
Due to the great show of support that I received from my Graffiti Art/Mural Ride Idea I wanted to get some help from those of you who LOVE Graffiti Art...
I am looking to organize a Graffiti/Mural Ride sometime in the future and wanted to get your help/ideas on the best Street Art in Los Angeles!
How you can help!!
Please post the cross streets (address would be great) of any places that you think would be a good addition to the ride.
Remember to post cross streets so we can find it and map it out. I am going to be checking out the pieces and will uses YOUR contributions/ideas to help map the ride.
Also if you know anyone who does graffiti art or is very knowledgeable on the subject I would love to get in contact with you to pick your brain!!

Roadblock - Yep these two posts are basically going to be the ideas that we will use to map out the ride. I just seperated the posts to help distinguish between the murals and the Graffiti. I wanted to take ideas from each.
Joe - yea man I am all ears... You have any ideas of how we can incorporate that into the ride?

Don't forget the LADOaT!! They are willing to step in and provide the infrastructure improvements that will make life easier for cyclists!

It would make an excellent addition to any ridazz route, que no?

u guys should roll by Lincoln Heights/El Sereno on Valley Blvd. There's a bunch of nice pieces right there next to the train tracks. i dunno if u guys seen that before, but it's been up for a while.

Don't forget the parking lots in Highland Park behind the buildings on Figueroa.
Some of the best graf artists in L.A. like in the area, and they hit up the parking lots with massive, multi color, murals. Some of the best are in the parking lots near the intersection of Figueroa and Avenue 56 (near the theater).

urbjay, I'm not sure if we will make it that far, but I'll keep it in mind.
The plan is to start at the Brewery. I kind of have an East LA/ Arts district themed ride going, but it is subject to change. I appreciate any help!

Hey-- We have the best graffiti and stencil artists in LA (well, many of them) here at Pasadena City College in the Screen Printing classes. Kris Pilon!?! from screenprinting at PCC?? WOW! I took a bunch of your classes years ago. How the heck did you find this site? lol. Wow. PCC is one fine educational institution well equipped and with really really great teachers. Thankyou Kris for teaching me screenprinting!
