GIVE THE NAZI RALLY IN LOS ANGELES
THE BOOT!
BUILD GRASSROOTS COMMUNITY RESISTANCE!
The openly Nazi racist group “National Socialist Movement” is planning a public
rally at L.A. City Hall on Saturday, April 17 at noon. The NSM is bringing hundreds of
nazi bonehead brownshirts and blackshirts, protected by LAPD riot cops, for a
national conference to mark Hitler’s birthday and build their campaign to subjugate
or eliminate Black and Brown people, Natives, Asians, Jews, and gays. Racist
organizing always leads to racist violence. This cannot be allowed to stand.
No Nazis in L.A. April 17
Flush ‘em out,
send ‘em packing!
Support human rights and
liberation for Black, Brown,
Native, Asian, gay & all poor
& working people!
No to racism, sexism, anti-
semitism, imperialism &
genocide!
The NSM is led by criminals and open nazis and engages in racist violence. A nazi in
Louisville was just busted for threatening the President on an NSM website. Yet at a
moment of layoffs and cutbacks, LA is going to spend a fortune for police to defend
these racists and fascists. Call the city at 3-1-1 to contact the mayor and city council
members and demand the city waste no $$ on shielding nazis. Join the “No Nazis in
LA” coalition to counter-mobilize against racism and fascism and defend human rights
and liberation. The nazis claim to be revolutionaries but they’re reactionaries who
scapegoat Blacks, Jews, migrants, gays and others for the failings of the system. The
best defense against their racist, sexist violence is strong grassroots community-based
resistance against the nazis and the system that produces them. Join Anti-Racist
Action-LA/People Against Racist Terror (ARA-LA/PART), Black Riders Liberation Party,
IWW, Revolutionary Autonomous Communities and others in building resistance
outside police ‘free speech’ pens:
GIVE THE NAZIS THE WELCOME THEY DESERVE!

Effictive Counter Protest Idea
I hear someone will do this on Saturday. Will there be others?
"All you need is this:
* Plastic water bottle with cap
* Dry Ice, (about 2 pieces each, previously cut into skinny slivers)
* Gloves
Fill bottle with warm water and walk around the Nazi side looking like a typical racist asshole while blending near them. Pull slivers of dry ice out of your pocket and put into bottle, close cap, put down bottle, walk away casually. About one minute later a loud boom will go off loud enough to scatter an entire block."
I think this would actually be effective. Please use your own judgment for actual consideration.

The downside of that idea is that they can hurt people with plastic shrapnel and/or injure people if they pick them and are holding them when they go off.
That's less an effective counter protest idea than it is an effective idea for getting a felony record.
If you want an effective counter protest, bring snarky signs and throw a picnic and invite the Nazis. Anger cannot succeed against hilarious mockery and tasty treats, and you're far less likely to get arrested.

I think the best idea is if everybody in DTLA completely avoided that area of town, including the press. Pipe dream?

This is part of living in a free society.
NO ONE FORCES YOU TO LISTIN TO THEM OR PARTICIPATE IN THERE RALLY.
If one group is banned because of expressing unpopular beliefs who will be next ?
Black Panthers ?
LaRaza ?
JDL ?
Rainbow Coalition ?
YOUR SUPPORTING THEM BY REACTING TO THEM
IN THERE MINDS THEY MUST BE IMPORTANT OTHERWISE YOU WOULDN'T CARE.
IF NO ONE SHOWED UP TO PROTEST THEM THAT WOULD BE MORE EFFECTIVE.

You truly show your ignorance and stupidity by making personal attacks.
You should make sure to go to your NSM Rally as you would fit right in with them.

These white power(less) groups are pitiful, why give then any attention at all? Indifference is the best deterrent.
What would happen if we all just ignored them? They would not get what they want, attention, and find something better to do with their lives.
They love to fight, they love the attention, that is how they garner new recruits so why give them what they want?
p.s. I'm not condoning *ignoring* antisemitism in public leaders and policy, but giving attention to these bums is feeing right into their PR strategy.

Since when were the Tea Party and the NSM in bed with each other?
Most Tea Party people I've spoken to are only concerned with personal property rights and bringing blue-collar manufacturing jobs back to the States.
It's one thing to "share the wealth", but corporate, Ivy League America would rather bend two groups over at once.
NSM is just as bad as the Ivy Leaguers, but they prefer swords and hatefilled rhetoric as opposed to corporate plans and company downsizing to the next 3rd world slum.
Anywho, didn't hear much in the news about this, so perhaps everyone followed better advice and ignored these tan-shirted, cock-smokers.

White supremacists stir up opposition on the Los Angeles City Hall lawn
April 17, 2010 | 2:09 pm
As hundreds of demonstrators surrounded Los Angeles City Hall and shouted "Nazis go home," about 40 white supremacists stood and waved swastika flags at a rally closely monitored by the Los Angeles Police Department.
"We are tired of you clogging up our streets," shouted one white supremacist of the National Socialist Movement. Another group member repeatedly denounced illegal aliens, saying, "If the city supports illegal aliens and criminals, that is treason."
Word of the group's rally, which was held behind a cordon of yellow police tape, attracted a variety of groups staging counter-demonstrations. At least two people were badly beaten in the ramp-up to the rally and one woman collapsed for unknown reasons.
"Why would we choose Los Angeles for a rally?" one of the socialist movement members asked. "Because it's the front line," he said."It is the belly of the beast."
About 50 feet away, police in riot gear separated neo-Nazi protesters from the hundreds of angry counter-protesters.
The latter chanted "Nazis go home," beat drums and thrust middle fingers in the air. Counter-protesters on the south lawn of City Hall drowned out the words of a Nazi protest leader's amplified speech.
They chanted, "Whose streets? Our streets!"
Several fights preceded the appearance of the supremacist group. One involved a man holding a sign with flames and a swastika. The man, who was carrying a bullhorn, was suddenly rushed by a mob of counter- demonstrators and beaten near the corner of Spring and 1st streets.
The man, who appeared to be in his 30s, was punched in the face and kicked for about 20 seconds by protesters, many of them wearing bandannas.
About a dozen police in riot gear rushed from near City Hall, running straight into the center of the mob.
"Police!" members of the mob screamed, running down Spring Street.
Once police broke up the mob, the man with the sign began running south on Spring Street. One man caught up with him and slugged him in the face; he collapsed and his face hit the curb. He was quickly surrounded by a mob again until police caught up and pushed the counter-protesters away with their batons.
The man was then escorted away by police as blood spilled from the back of his head.
His sign, broken into pieces, was left behind on the street. It read: "Christianity = Paganism" and had an arrow pointing to a swastika.
It wasn't clear if the man was a white supremacist.
"Gosh, I think he just didn't have a clear message. I don't even think he was a Nazi," said one man, looking at the broken pieces of the sign.

The last incident sounded like a case of mistaken identity.
As for the NSM, they should've just stayed home and read the Turner Diaries aloud.
On that note, since when did white-supremacists get to hold the monopoly over rural survivalism?
