I was the guy on the mountain bike with the full face helmet going up brown mountain i over heard you guys talking about crank mob! what are you names? I would of stopped but i only had like 50 mins of sunlight left!

actually today is a good group to start with.be at JPL parking lot by 6pm it's a good fun group that goes to the top of brown wich is simple and you can either come down el prieto if you want some technical stuff or come back down the fire road ...

I'm all the way in Echo Park...I hardly know how to ride a bike and shift gears, much less figure out how to get all the way to JPL and then ride mt trails???
I don't think the bike fits in my trunk right now. I'd have to clean it out...but yeah, I am definitely up to riding sometime. Do you have a map of the trail I can look at?

You can go google maps and put in Jpl-brown mountain. today is tuesday brown mountain delight and it's a ride where bigginers can come to train. there is also another more flatter trail you can take.If you Have quick relase you can take the wheels of and it should be able to fit.

STR would be cooler if it wasn't 99% OC people and OC rides. It's hard to believe there are so few mtn bike riders in LA. Or they just haven't found STR or something.

Ive never rode at JPL in the dirt, but I am totally down for it. When is the next time Poras? Also, are ya gonna roll with us tomorrow nite?

Yeah barchopz im there man.... After work im going rock climbing by my house at some place i know then ill get ready for the famous Barchopz ride but ill be back on the dirt tommorow at 5:45pm and the weekends for sure im in the hills... Ill get your number tonight ... Or email me...

Yeah i over heard a little that sounded like The Chaos that happens at the CM and i figured it had to be it.Where did you guys start of from for CM? That trail i was on splitz and goes up to the sattle just where brown mountain starts and goes up to Ken burton or you could keep going on the flat trail you guys where on wich turns into a dirt path and goes for about 2-3 miles to a water fall where you can dive in and swim around. or you could also go to the world famous El Prieto trail.This trail gets some much play...You guys should def ride it. Ill be more than happy to ride with you guys and show you around.Im there every weekend and now almost every day after work. Email me pporras@ascentmedia.com so we can set some thing up.....

I just did my first Barchopz and it rocked!
All drinking pros, good times, and we stayed in the right lane when appropriate. Everybody had a good attitude!
Only thing I didn't like was the coyotes in G.P. on my way home....

@ towliesong We should get more locals to join STR so we can even out the #'s...
@ CCarajo Ill be up there riding next week again and this weekend,But if you go hiking it takes a good 2-3 hours just to get to the waterfall in the back. If you ride the trail you could prob make it in an hour... There a cool little brake spot at the first camp ground..... Perfect for the mota-vation break...wink wink...There is another water fall in eaton canyon that takes abotu 30 mins to hike to. and another in millard camp in altadena....
