Eddie I know this is funky timing b/c you can't ride as much as you want to while you are healing, but to me it is perfect timing because *not* having you around to ride w/ has made it very clear to me HOW IMPORTANT YOU ARE TO THE RIDES!!! You're always ready for fun! You travel far for rides and I never hear a sigh or a whine about it! Plus you have all the self-engineered nifty glowy add ons on you bike and music you make yourself too! (right?) You are awesome and I can't wait till you are back out riding w/ us again!

Eddie is like a kid that never grew up mixed with a dude who had to kick people's asses and do terrible things to survive.
Even though he can be loud and pushy, he has a big heart and is one of the best mechanics (and CIsco-certified techs) I know.
The man should have his own T.V. show on PBS teaching kids how to make things and not be a nerd about it, but look like a gangsta.
He helped out at the Oven for a looong time, helping fix bikes and just chilling and holding up the walls sometimes.
I hope you get all healed up Eddie, you keep the spirit of this city alive.

Another thing that needs to be recognized is that heavy ass sound system you carried (or maybe still carry) on your handle bars. That is some "CAN DO"

so i remember i was at lacm one time with my sisters and eddie was standing next to us, blasting some raunchy music like "ooh yeah let's fuckk all night, love that asss" or something and it was kind of awkward, so finally he was like "uhh, i guess it's not appropriate to be playing this in front of the ladies." haha. plus i really like his techno/house music. (i think i'm one of the few.)
