Pick teams of 3. A straightaway course with minimum lights. The times of all 3 participants are added together not in the standard last man in race. So this is individual/team effort, awarded to the team.
Fixed or Road Bike, Distances avg from 10 miles to 40 miles. Teams start 5 minutes apart. All times recorded and tracked. and courses recycled, to compare times.
Registration is on day of race, there is no fee to race. Once you register your team, please keep team members the same. Change in team members forces team a disqualification in the "league" and must re-register. Team may not track new times with member changes. Times will be posted on the internet.

come with teams. or come out teamless and start a team. once a team is registered, you can't change members though without starting a new team. and your old scores are discarded.
most of the courses will be straighaways withuot lights, mainly through bike paths or more rural streets, but shouldnt be too bad because its in teams of 3.
that's still in the works. this is a bit more serious. use this as an assessment to see if you're getting better at riding. since we measure once every month.
OK so for the first one i think we're going to try Crystal Springs Dr, from Zoo Dr on the north, finishing out by los feliz.
Sunday Feb 1, @ 12 PM Meet at the Griffith Statue. Register until 1:30, Time trials start @ 2. Each team will have 2 recorded times. The first race is ran with all 3 members of the team. The second time will be in pairs, and the extras will run 1v1v1 sprints.
