How many people find this unacceptable?
Me and my wife/ life partner met one day when I was working on starting a new band. I was looking for a guitar player. I had Willie come over had no idea that we would have sparks. Well from that day on we where inseperable.
We loved to do everything together.
She was so loving and warm hearted I felt she could do no wrong.
We got married we where both the happiest we have ever been in our lives. We had everything in common and couldn't even imagine arguing or fighting. True soul mates connected at the heart. We could say what each other is thinking. We would spend the days on clouds as happy as one can be.
Well I learned this is a recipe for disaster.
When everything in your life is so perfect all it takes is some little things to throw it out of whack and cause a catastrophic failure. I was laid off and the stress began. This caused a lot of the passion to dissolve because we where in survival mode. You can't think happy thoughts when you are scared you might lose your home and things. Well we can't just up and run from our problems.
Or should I say I can.t.
I started a new job at Rock N Road cyclery.
This required me to work weekends. While doing that I was looking for a second job because our finances where just more than we could bare even with roommates. The first weekend I worked at R N R Willie goes on a bike ride with Pat (CPATCRASH) and I didn't think anything of it.
I trusted him because I have ridden with him many times and we even rode just us three. I know a lot of the same old school mtn bike people as him so I thought that is why he was bonding with us. The truth is he was poking around looking for a soft spot to stick the knife.
As he was riding with Willie wining about his failing marriage. He started getting Willie to unload our financial problems and our lack of passion to him. NONE OF HIS BUSINESS! Thank you.
After the bonding started they started riding every weekend together behind my back (as if I don't know everyone on the trail) and they didn't call to tell me.
DUMB
All this time I knew what was going on. It was a big test of trust. Both failed.
Then she tells me a week before X-MASS she wants to move to her parents so she can spend time with her family and think. This was a LIE! She then started dating Pat the scum of the earth that has pulled the same thing on many other people on STR. BTW,watch your wives and girlfriends. Feel free to email me if you haven't already if you are also a victim of his slick ways.
Let's not forget he is married and he is over 50 years old and has a gift that keeps giving. From a past drug addiction. HEP.

All this time am trying to give her time to figure out what she is doing is wrong.
Then she comes to me on December 23rd and tells me she wants a divorce. Then she has a new apartment. Is that something you would do to anyone you even gave a shit about?
AHHH NO!
So I started thinking this guy is really putting the moves on my wife and I thought she was smarted than that and much stronger than that. Well I was wrong.
I noticed she went to dinner with him on our credit card.
After seeing that I asked her to tell me the truth. I said are you dating Pat she said yes. Wow the first thing yet that wasn't a lie.
That is wrong in so many ways.
Doesn't marriage mean anything to anyone anymore? Am I old fashioned? I seem to remember something like this: in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do us part.
Should I be into hitting on other peoples girls friends and wives?
Ok so back to the story.
I WAS DESTROYED AND LEFT ALONE ON X MASS AND NEW YEARS.
This is the most heartless thing anyone could ever do.
Her family is all I have here. It was a normal thing that I would spend XMass with her family.
I was just blown away. I went into shock and almost ended up in the hospital.
I have lost 15 lbs because I didn.t eat for 7 days.
I didn't sleep for 4 days.
I say to her I think we need to go to counseling and work things out and save what we have. Many times it can spark up things you love about your partner that you didn.t even know.
She says: NO I have to go with my heart. Her heart has been tampered with. A predator will say whatever he or she has to say to her what he or she wants.
So now I am thinking I did something wrong and I offer to go to counseling to help me become a better listener.
I had to play it off with my family because I didn.t want to see anyone get hurt. Some of my family members are not nice to traitors and like to deal with betrayal in a different way.
I wouldn.t want to be him. I am sure there are many others that share my feelings.
If not now maybe after he prays on your loved ones.
I saw the possibility of her waking up and getting her crap together.
Willie and I had a type of energy that could not be matched. She always said she would have died if she never met me. It was like we where sharing a heart.
Yes many of you are thinking is this appropriate to post in a public forum. WELL HELL YEAH IT IS .

That.s right you would probably freak out unless it wasn't a happy marriage then who knows, maybe you would be happy it was over.
Well I find this information to be more appropriate then what has been done to me.
You should all know your surroundings.
I would have loved a warning.
Just like I wouldn.t let a child molester around my friends children.
I think we all have a right to know.
This forum is much like a family.
This family I am always here for and they have been here for me.
I really thought I liked the guy before all of this.
I would have asked Willie to wait till I can go if I didn.t give him the benefit of the doubt.
I thought that his way of communication was a little weird.
Talking at both Willie and me but only looking at Willie.
I should have told him to stop eye fucking my wife but I thought he might have a problem that causes it. Wouldn't I feel like big jerk if he had lazy eye or a !@#$?phobic problem.
So now New Year.s rolls up and after being questioned by friends what are you 2 up to? We see you riding together all the time. How does that work? Where is Jason?
Oh nothing just hanging out.
Then Pat shows up and they hold hands and cuddle all kissy all night in front of everyone. How is anyone that knows us as being together going to feel comfortable around that?

Disrespecting friends they have/had at the party is not cool. Is that worth it?.
Who knows maybe they see through it like I do.
Maybe they will look the other way.
I have a hard time believing they will accept that. Because they could be next.
We all know the grass is always greener on the other side. But she found the dead grass it was a mirage.
After that I asked Willie what is going on and why would she disrespect me and all of the people around them.
She says to me I love him. Slowly turning the knife in my back.
I am thinking this guy is like Charles Manson praying on weak vulnerable people.
So Pat says he is going to divorce his wife to be with her and she is working on the paperwork to divorce me.
BTW she shut down my Cable TV my Internet My phone my credit card and many other things.
She basically left me for dead as if the house wasn't a struggle before I lost a roommate and her close to the same time.
That my friend is called running away from your problems.
She could never be trusted again. That is not someone you want making the decisions for your life when on life support. It would be whatever is best for her.
Feel free to write or call me if you are victim of this nonsense. It turns out Willie is not the only one who has fallen a victim to this guy. I would love to hear your stories.
I might even write a book.
This is unbelievable.
If you have nothing good to say don't post on this thread.
I hope they have Great Mountain biking in hell.

Anywho, it sucks that this shit had to happen during the holidays and in the middle of all the concurrent shit that's going down right now.
If anything, take a cool-down someplace where you could reflect on some of the happier times of your relationship and focus on the future.
For some people, it takes a few months to get over something bad.
For others, it could easily take up part of a lifetime to recover from such a low-blow.
But, we've all got our different ways of coping and even if you can't take it off the top of your head, that method will subtly seek it's way to the surface just begging to be used.

Everyone can laugh and make fun of this guy...but I would be careful. Karma is a bitch.
Anyone who has had a dagger stuck in their heart knows the pain is excruciating. It takes time to heal and in time it does heal.
