I just got this email... Too tired for more commentary, but let's go try for bike paths, yeah?

Dear Sarah,
On Saturday, in your backyard, the Army Corps of Engineers is holding a meeting regarding the “Sepulveda Basin”. The announcement below reports the time and place.
I’ll guess that this is an opportunity for you and all your biker friends to not just make some noise about bicycle facilities (trails, polo fields, jousting facilities…) but to actually be heard. If I understand the rules, any ideas raised at one of these meeting must be addressed.
The Corp webpage about the Sepulveda basin is at: http://www.spl.usace.army.mil/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=172&Itemid=1
The link to the 15+ Mb existing Master Plan is: ftp://ftp.usace.army.mil/pub/spl/sepulveda/sepulveda_dam_master_plan_resize.pdf

I just took at look at that plan. So far I think its awesome.
More bike paths, a larger lake. Parking on the outside of the park only.
