LAPD Tackles Girl at People's Ride

What I know...because I didn't witness it.
She was tackled near Hollywood and Whitely then handcuffed.
Numerous tourists were video tapping the ride as it weaved in and out of gridlock traffic on Hollywood Blvd.
A female Australian tourist came forward and said she had video tapped the entire incident, she will upload it to Youtube in 24-48 hours.
The Australian will provide a copy of the video to some riders who are staff members at UCLA.
If anyone else witnessed the incident, you can post on this thread.
Some riders were also video tapping, so there probably won't be any shortage of footage.

We're waiting for the video of the girl being tackled off her bike on Hollywood Blvd by the cop. You know it will be watched around the world when it goes up.
Bernie was drunk again, this time he wasn't comatose, but there was almost a major fight.
When the cops chased us out of Rock and Roll Ralphs, Cesar left behind his back pack with a battery in it. He went back but we don't know if was able to find it.
The girl who took that epic crash on Fairfax was wearing a helmet. Some bruises and aches but no major injuries.

BUT ON A BETTER NOTE, CESAR WAS ABLE TO FIND HIS BACKPACK AND EVERYTHING WAS STILL THERE EXCEPT A FEW BEERS. HE WASN'T ABLE TO FIND HIS WAS BACK TO PAN-PACFIC PARK, HE SHOWED UP AT MY HOUSE AROUND 3AM. IT'S ALL GOOD.

a car full of drunk girls u turned right into me on highland and hollywood. i flew straight into their door with that stupid heavy ass bike and fucked up their car. they sped off real quick. it was a great show for the tourists most definately.

i saw most of the incident of the girl being tackled. i got there just as they were picking her up and cuffing her and kept yelling "pull out your cameras, tape this shit"
the other girl that took a spill, i'm glad she's ok... that was a gnarly fall.

did any one see the gang bangers attack the riders a few miles from the start of LACM when everyone rode by their funeral.
I seen the attack because they came at me first then picked some other dude and leveled him, no one wanted to go back to help and get beat up too.

we rode by a funeral? i didn't see that. i stay up front. but that totally sucks. is this a good time to ask why LACM always rides through the hood? there are 'nicer' parts of los angeles than downtown/skid row. i hope that doesn't sound elitist. hell, i should just start a new thread. carry on.

lol, off topic but i had to chime in:
Downtown/skid row is hardly the 'hood' anymore. that's where i live, and it is definitely above the 50th percentile of safe neighborhoods in LA. there are many, many more places much worse in the city/county/greater metro area

Apparently the video posting has been delayed.
There is also some internal discussion about what is on the video and whether it will hurt or help the case if it is posted world wide. I haven't seen the video, so I don't know anything, but it has supposedly been duplicated and handed off by the Australian tourist who taped it.
The upside, the girl was not grievously injured.
The video, if it is posted, will probably not make it up until after Labor Day.
That's all I know for now.

i wasn't drunk X-large and everybody. someone was just being stupid with me and wouldn't let me talk to my friend steve in private and then that someones cus told me shit, so i got pissed and tried to fight him.... thats it... its that clear......

at yetiman, yeah me and some other riders saw everything. i was in the back waiting for all the riders to catch up with the group when all of a sudden this black guy jumps and kicks with both feet at the rider and throws the rider off his bike and he even poped his tire which i couldn't understand?
i tired to say sorry to the family but then a other guys from the family tried to punch me in the face, but i was too fast for him and he missed and then i got on my bike and rode cause i didn't want kangaroo black to kick me off my bike as well!

Supposed to be a funeral, yet instead of paying respects and acting all sad, I guess they were mad at the world and decided to rage against anything that didn't belong.
And to think I was once afraid of being possessed by another soul while walking/cycling through or near a graveyard!!!
And YES, I do believe in ghosts and other paranormal phenomena!!

I wanted to post to this to see if anyone is following up on the videos. Does anyone know what is happening? What's the girls name and does she have a court case for the arrest. What are the charges that she is faced with? This topic seemed to die off but yet it is very important.... If anyone has an update, please let us know.

It seem like a lot of important things seem to just be forgotten around here.There are many topics that need to have all of our attention.
1.What is happening with the Mandalvill canyon case?Is there going to be another court date?Will we show up and show our support this time?
2.The girl tackled on the LACM.Is the video ever going to be put up?
3.I read a great idea a week ago or so about making a "know your rights,know the laws" spoke card.Is Anyone following though on it?I'll glad contribute some cash and some time to help cut them.

Thanks I'll try to get in contact with him.It would great if we make a lot of them and hand that out at ride,even stick them on random bikes you just see around town so everyone knows.
