verizon or sprint phone needed

i need a verizon or sprint phone. i'm broke. I'm switching to metro PCS and they cant use my t-mobile phone. Their cheapest phone is $98 and if I use a verizon or sprint phone its only $55.
can anyone help me out?

I don't know if you know about
craigslist cell phones. Sorry if you know about that already.
Word of advice. If you buy a phone and they say it is new. Ask if they received as replacement phone from insurance or if it is the one they originally purchased? Nine outstay of ten times the insurances phone will be faulty because they are refurbished. That has been my experience and the experience of people who got replacement phones through insurance. It been my experience to get a used phone that is a little beat up if they bought as the original phone. They work better then insurance replacements.
