I need your help

I just started a new site with the intention of fixing LA's streets. Because bikers have a unique view of the city, you see what others don't. Bumps, potholes, lack of bike lanes, cars parked in bike lanes, etc.
Besides being a reporting vehicle, I also created a forum so you can compare notes. Many people live close to each other, so they are able to comment on each others fix it finds.
Please take a look and help LA get fixed:

That is awesome Lisa.
You might want to consider setting up a link or a feed directly to the City of Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services Service Request page - http://bss.lacity.org/Administration/service.htm
Good luck with this, L.A. definitely needs more bicycle friendly roads.

From Washington/ Western (Northbound) Cracks, hole, big big bumps, turtles all the way down baby.
Also, Hyperion, near tangs. A bunch of people have seriously injured themselves going down that street.

Thanks for the great ideas. It's going to take lots of people with lots of road issues to get this going. LA is a great city but even here, without the snow, we have lots of potholes, traffic lights that don't work, or other bike and peds issues.
I'm happy a few of your told me your issues, but it's much better if you use the site and report them.
As to the pictures, if you go to the SeeClickFix link, you'll be able to upload pictures of the potholes, elevated roads, like the one at the corner of 1st and Olive.
The more issues reported and voted upon, the more likely the government will see us.

This site looks great. What's the extent of the area you're covering? Is it city wide? County wide? What's been your experience on repairs getting done going through this site?
There's sooooooooo many roads that could use some repairs to.

The site covers the entire LA area. As it is so new, as far as I know, no issues in the LA area have been resolved. However, it is working in a few cities on the East Coast, where it started, which is more a function of the number of issues reported and voted on.
Each time an issue is reported or voted up, new emails are sent to the government departments that are "watching." So as the numbers grow, the louder the voices are for issue resolution.
As one, we don't have much power, but as a group, it can work.
Here are two examples:
