The ride was a lot of fun. Roughly 25 people.
We weren't able to do the route completely due to police interaction.
We were stopped at a liquor store taking a break, and this guy called the cops because he said one of our riders was riding his bike, which was stolen two weeks prior. The kid said he bought it off craigslist, and they took it away. What happened when the cops came up though, is that about 75%-80% of the riders booked immediately, so it was only like 8 of us after that. We decided to fuck the route and just get food.
Next week it's sticking to the route. No cops, no bullshit.

It was a liquor store off Ventura, and the guy who called wasn't riding with us. He just happened to be going to the same liquor store as us, and saw the guy with his bike.

Crazy twist of fate!!! I don't believe the bike was bought on craigslist though...why would he swap wheels with his friend to make it seem like they changed something...

yo, we are doing a meetup at woodley orange line at 8...rolling at 9. Can you have your TNT riders ride over to woodley orange line after you meet up at sepulveda station. U guys are meeting at 8 and rolling at 830.....then we can all roll together at 9? You can still lead the ride.

the plan was to have two different rides meet up at laurel canyon and chamberlain. One starts at woodley orange line at 9....the other starts at NOHO orange line at 9pm. I figured since woodley orange line is closer to you, you might want to link up with us.

We don't go too fast, but we don't go too slow. It's a pretty medium paced ride.
And no later than 12:00am.

If that is the case what did the 10 people do on your Nov.16 ride they didn't pass you but you still dropped them it is a medium /slow ride so what did they do to cause you to drop them which RULE did they break of yours...........When I read your ride post it sound like a little kid NEW RULE if you pass me you will be dropped.The message I get if you pass the ride leader he's telling his mommy

I'm sorry you feel that way about how I stated it.
People got dropped because people went faster, passed the leader, thus having everyone else try catching up with them, dropping the people in the back. If I tell people NOT to pass the person leading, the ride will maintain a slower pace, resulting in everyone being able to keep up. Also when people have passed the leader before they made wrong turns, etc.
