I missed the race

I had to miss the Wolfpack All City Race because I was in the hospital again.
I want to hear some cool stories so I can live vicariously through them.
Sorry for not being there, as I had promised, to claim a fire pit and take pictures and all of that (seems like it worked out fine, I knew it would). I know nobody is mad or disappointed, but I am a man of my word, and I said I would be there.
I threw up so much blood I passed out while waiting at the hospital (fuck USC medical center, btw. They almost let me die). They said I lost over 30% of my blood through vomiting.
On the plus side they removed 2 tumors from my stomach. The funny part is, when I woke up from surgery, the first things I asked about were the race, and then surgery. I was SOOOO excited about the race, and I still feel pissed about the timing of all this shit. I REALLY wanted one of those t-shirts, too...... so badly.
I am starting to feel better, and I they say I can ride in about a week (gently).

jesus, get well soon. USC sucks, i spent 23 hours there just for a minor fractured wrist. RB posted the final results in the all city race thread. the race was super intense. it was all filmed by a helicopter piloted by our very own harry. no one got seriously injured and no one got hassled by the cops.

You were missed!!! I posted a few pix of the race and will post a bit more of the bbq/beach party! Hope you are feeling better and am glad that your surgery went well

Get well Chris. Everything worked out fine. No big accidents and we got there to the beach with plenty of time to chill and watch the teams finish.

i was wondering where you were, cause you would have cleaned up on the cans. the race was insanely fun, even though a flat cost us several minutes. and yes, USC County is the worst evar. see you soon chris.

Holly hell, i knew about the helicopter, but I didn't know Harry was the pilot!

It was madness. People of every different speed were racing together, splitting up, merging with other groups, losing teammates. It was brilliant.

I'd tell you a funny story about my friends' team, but I think they'd get mad at me for posting it up on the forums, LOL.
