JAZZ RIDE

Hello fellow riders!
I want to host a mellow night ride to the beach this summer, and play jazz off portable speakers on the way. We can end it with a night picnic by the sea!
The idea is to soothe the city and ourselves with Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald and the like. I'd prefer to keep to streets with low traffic (residential areas?). Perhaps start at Crank Mob Park and end in Venice or... maybe to Dockweiler for the fire pits. I was thinking mid-August would be a good time. I want to make user this ride is accesible to riders that like taking it slow. Also, I'd like the route to be available pre-ride, so people can hop in where convenient.
I've never hosted my own ride, so I'll appreciate any help I can get.
Who's into this? Westside riders? Anyone with a speaker bike into jazz? Suggestions? Advice?

What a cool idea! I just had the idea of playing be bop and riding an erratic route, non linear man! But your idea for this to end at the beach from Crank Mob is awesome, but starting from Downtown LA would be cooler in my opinion because riding to Crank Mob is a ride in itself so if it started in Downtown, it would be a longer ride and much more centralized as a meeting spot and more people can join along the way. Having a prepared route with estimated times for the ride to roll through is an awesome idea. And also keeping it at a good pace that is not too fast is the best idea. I suggest Crank Mob, to Venice, south to Dockweiler, picnic, and an option to stay over night. People can ride back or take the Green Line to Blue Line in the morning. Hauling a keg on a trailer with a 5 dollar fee to drink would be great, ID's necessary of course. This would take care of the cost of the keg and for hot dogs and marshmallow s'mores. Another trailer for the wood. I envision rides where victuals and libations are supplied and a small fee is payed for all to enjoy.
