Because everyone else posts their computer problems on here, I will too...
I tried to open up my itunes today and it wouldnt let me. it said that there was a trojan in it. when i tried to uninstall it said it was incomplete because some of the files were missing. i figured i could reinstall and that would fix/override the files that weren't there (yeah i duno). but it says that i can't because there's still the corrupt files. how can i fix this? how can i get iTunes back on my computer?
oh yeah i'm on a pc. and lets just get over the whole "get a mac" or "your problem is that you have a pc" bullshit and please just HELP ME!!!! :D
k thanks.

FIRST: Get A Mac is not bullshit!
SECOND: your music files should still be in your music folder.
THIRD: are you using limewire to jack stuff?

Sounds like you might have to delete some registry keys, but you have to know what you are doing.
Dump the itunes folder in program files. Restart. And try to reinstall.

Since I had my iPod stolen I began using Winamp and got rid of iTunes. I think the display is nice, easy to look at, but I can't say much on how it functions because I haven't been listening to music a lot lately so I haven't used it much.

so i figured out the problem
apparently it was my virus protector. I guess AVG is mistakingly confusing corrupt files in itunes. so if any of you guys are having problems with this. uninstall avg. uninstall itunes and then re-install itunes and wait for the update on avg. otherwise you'll have to do it all over again :)
thanks y'all for your awesome suggestions :D

Microsoft and Apple can both suck a fuck. Use gtkpod on Linux or BSD.

I kinda like Itunes i gotta admit. Ive lately used winamp/zune player and honestly they just arent as clean looking and robust as itunes

It is looking as though this is a problem with your virus scanning software. I'm not a windows user, so can't speak from any experience, but it looks like consensus is that this is defective scanning software. If you have a license for the virus software, I'd get on the phone and make them fix your shit.

AVG sucks. Works well after a while and then all of a sudden it just starts blocking apps for no reason.
