Does anyone know any chill spots in dtla that you could hang out with a friend at night and not have any problems with security? nothing like a bar or clubs just a place to chill and see some good views of the city ohh and were going to be on bikes.

yo, if you are okay with beasting it up a hill, there is this AWESOME spot on the top of this hill that overlooks dodger stadium on one side and downtown on the other. it's a tight spot because two houses that used to be at the top of the hill were demolished and the land wasnt fenced off, so you can kick it without being in the street.

also, when you look at the map, that little park just to the left of that spot (everett park) might be pretty cool too, seeing as how its an actual park. but you have to enter that street from sunset blvd and i prefer the first one i mentioned anyway

You might try the parking lot across the street from the Disney Concert Hall on Grand. Also there's some cool spots Elysian Park. Angel's look out and some other spots in the park. I've always been meaning to explore that park completely and catalogue all the secret little spots. There's gotta be some killer spots there.

With attitudes like that, it'll always be a little sleeper of a gem, which of course I don't mind. Much rather have it under utilized than over utilized.

well, the condom field was very gross but thats about the only bad part of the park i found. fun mtn. biking trails, nice people and amazing views. i just thought it was so weird.... like really, if you dont know the area i'm talking about there's like no way to explain its grossness.
