RACING? !

HI.
I'm new to LA. This site is way sick, we don't have anything like this up in the bay area. I noticed that there are lots of rides but very few races. Whats up with that?
I wanna do more ally cat races. I did the Blade Runner race that was posted on here weeks ago but I haven't see any since... Are these kept way on the down low or are they just not happening?
Anyone else wanna do more racing? I'm down to help organize. Holler...

Yeah I made it to all the check points in the Blade Runner race. I wanna race more! Rides are cool but just different... And I dont like drag races, too boring...

Come out to Wolfpack on Monday nights. Most nights its a road race practice with a sprint at the end.

No date for the All City Race, but it is in the works.

When I come down to one of these, I'm bringing a radar gun.
These 30-40mph sustained speeds are something I want to see in action.
Even if it means over-cranking on my mtb and doing a ballerina twirl over my bars, trying to reach that.

Nah, I was just talking out of my ass on that one.
But, it's not like you need to have a special license to get one either.
If timekeepers at dragraces and drift-runs on the mountain are able to get them, I don't see what's stopping me.
Now RFID tracking tags along with a tracker-monitor w/screen would whoop that ass!!!!

Undercover has a point though, Alleycat races are dope, and you would think the proliferation of road and track bikes would enhance that scene, but it's always the same dudes racing... We do need more alleycats!

Thanks for all the feedback. I'll check out wolf pack on Monday. But if anyone wants to organize a race, let me know, I'm down to help. I could get some sponsors I think...
