This is the breakdown.
Yes I will compete for the overall win, however 818 players should show up on their respected named steed.
Yetiman =Yeti
TC4TB's =Tall bike
Parlorbikes =Paror bike
Not so much for competition, more to rep your namesake.

my second place or what ever place i got was only a taste of what is about to happen when i get the smallest cog known to man on my rear wheel and break the speed of sound.

Yetiman you WON the Fixed Gear division handily! Glad you're on The 818 Bike Polo Race Team in the Wolfpack race this year!
Bearclaw walked away with Best Overall but not by the margin I expected from a Cat 1 racer, his heats were close, how much did he win? I didnt see the purse distribution... Also that race between and BIKE GOD and Brassknuckle was pretty intense... Bicykiller has pix

Yeah it felt good when I found out he was a CAT1. Didn't feel too bad for losing by a tire or wheel to a in season CAT1.
We both had good starts and bad starts. I can say for the short distance =starts, gearing and drivetrain wear all are MAJOR components in this style race. If I didn't have those 4 beers who knows what could have happened!!! Maybe next week I won't drink before the races.
Oh yeah!!! The real boys did best 2 out of 3 drafting legal!!!!!
Stay in your lane... thats B.S. Tactics play more if you can draft or lead!!!

This is the only way I can beat you.
Take you out at the line.
My tires are like anchors. I someimes fear those mid 70's Sugino Maxy cranks will fail when I crank on it. Lets see if my gear can even come close to the V rocket!

We will see how my injuries heal by then. That Honda I hockey checked, I am sure is still hurting. Twisting handlebars and brute force strength might not be attainable. You know what happens when you try to go LUCRIDOUS SPEED!!!!!!

I like the idea of the 250m race because this gives me more time to drink beer cause i don't have to ride as far now. I was thinking about riding a bmx too tomorrow.

yeti, 250m isn't enough of a distance for you to drink your beer while doing a wheelie, you wouldn't have inertia to hold yourself and the beer in your hand and the beer in your stomach up.
don't start getting gassy in the middle of a sprint like i did. it's almost impossible to burp and pedal at the same time.

jeff won by a hair. literally. we were neck and neck the entire way and he pulls up on his bars to do a wheelie or whatever like hes riding a bmx bike and gets ahead of me by like an inch.

i think my big diesel gearing on my bike is about double of what i need for that short race, one street block with my 53 x 16 sucks, i need some baby gears on my fixed like RBI so i can really rip it.
Its really shows that i have a lot more gears to run if i can put down a wheelie over the finish line, big rig style.
Larry it was a rad event, its always a blast.
I think some of the best races of the night were all the commuters racing and the chick on the felt bmx, schoolin the dudes on the fixed, also Jake and Chris racing was by far the closest racing of the night, were talking milimeters at the finish line, a great 3 races between them.
I had a good time, Thanks to everyone that showed up and put'er down

That chick on the bmx with the 50 feet head start and me with the my ready position being having only one foot caged in the other on the ground, sure beat me. But I got her on the second race. I then switched my back wheel to the better cog, filled my half inflated tire and was ready for the third and final race but then they switched it to bmx to bmx only. I was also dropped out of the races. WAAACK!
Shout out for Lindsey though she rocked a pretty bad a bmx and did rip it!!

I know there were a couple of me cheesin out as I coasted across the finish line, several lengths ahead- yes- on the Manta Ray! Yes!
And then that guy wheelied/fell into me on the start racing three wide, and that was it.
Mad fun though. Mad fun.
I'll be back next month rockin my slick Manta Ray again.
