I need a job. This is turning into a serious situation.
Here is my resume. I'd appreciate it if anyone could take a look and give me any feedback...especially if you can give me a job

Do you have full time teacher credentials. You know, for high school or middle school teaching. This is a pretty obvious suggestion, but check the local school districts for a full time position.
Also craigslist is always a help.
This post is completely pointless, i just got done riding and need to stretch out my fingers.

Hey, here are a couple of suggestions, take them for what they're worth.
1. Try organizing your resume by function rather thank chronologically if you're looking to get back into the marketing field.
2. Look into "corporate trainer" opportunities, as you've got the educational background that they like for putting together training materials and providing training. (On how to use the company's product, on how to avoid sexual harassment suits, etc.)
3. Check out indeed.com . Indeed.com is an aggregator of most of the other job websites out there, and it allows you to search on all of them at once.
4. Temp agencies / craigslist "gigs" - Good for some ready $, and you can sometimes turn them into long term positions.

Turn over rate is high and they're always hiring. Claims Reps do not need any previous insurance experience and pay is competitive. Although I had to get a copy of my driving record when i applied.

Mr. Raymond. I am a darling Substitute teacher in Placentia Yorba Linda Unified School District. They have given me enough long term positions along with contract projects that I have been able to make a pretty good living for the last few years. Here is the problem. I am in a situation where I have a suspended license until I pay a bunch of money for tickets (all but one a non-moving violation e.g. fix a tickets). So, I have to be able to ride to work. I had planned on taking the summer to help my parents build their retirement home on the east coast, but it wasn't to be logistically. In the mean time, all of the great contract work I had cultivated at PYLUSD got gobbled up by other teachers. I could have done all of that work without a car. I've done it for a long time. But, I can't be a regular sub. A regular sub is required to have a license and a car. So, sigh. I actually enjoy substitute teaching. And, LAUSD pays fairly well. Thanks for the heads up, though, Mr. Raymond.

Thanks Adrian and mellow yellow. Yeah...when we were talking about that insurance job before...it seems like it is something I can do fairly well. My driving record, believe it or not, is clean. I just have a pending stop sign ticket....and a bunch of fix a tickets.

I have a good job and a solid career.
I'm about to come to L.A.--in the fall. After I stay the night with friends, I will go to a restaurant that doesn't include you--and I will not think about you at all. But, I will be eating some fine sushi at a place that would never hire you. I won't be eating your sushi because you are a dumb ass. I will be eating sushi because this place has some of the best affordable sushi I've ever eaten.
