there's a ton of variation on this ratio; especially between languages. Japanese haiku use 5-7-5, but because of the word structure you get less mileage than english syllables; less words that is. = more obscure (whereas in english you just end up sounding like Yoda)

im waiting an a confirmed MESSENGER gig in DTLA. So this week i've hung ourt in DTLA almost everyday. I ran into a legal service that sometimes uses bike messengers on a freelance basis and i made myself available to them this past tuesday. well today is the first day im not hanging out in DTLA and at 3:35 i get a freelance messenger job call from this messenger company to pick up from 1000 wilshire (i live in k-town on 1st and Normandie - 3.80 miles from downtown). I haul ass to this call and get to the pick up at 4:00pm. it took me 15 minutes total (between getting ready -[2mins] to arrive at the pick up destination. I got to the pick up at 4pm. the delivery point was les than 2 miles away and i delivered the package at 4:10pm. This was the test gig. the messenger company was impressed and told me i was fast and efficient. I only feel 99.999999999999% recovered but today i felt like i was back a full 100% after hearing that critique. Im back! I'm so back... watch out now. WPH im coming after you guys. watch for me slingshotting around your left.
