Rogue Ride V - Country Club Tour

Thread started by

You are cordially invited to one of West Los Angeles' most anticipated bicycle events:
Dress in your finest polo shirt and plaid shorts and meet at eight sharp in Virginia Park at the corner of Pico Blvd and Cloverfield in Santa Monica. Immediately commencing at nine will be a brisk stroll through Los Angeles' wealthiest zip codes and most exclusive golf courses. Following the ride will be a private wine and cheese party near Virginia Park with a crackling wood fire.
Please be aware that this will be a moderate to challenging ride with steep hills and windy roads. This is
not a fast ride, we will all stick tightly together. However, there will be terrain and conditions not usually encountered on party rides.
We advise you to bring a lightweight and/or geared bike, spare tube, tools, a pump, and a bottle of Charles Shaw.
pay no attention to the man behind the postings above - remember who the "great" Wizard of OZ turned out be. yea.
i am super excited about this ride. the route is really about the places we've scouted. and getting there will be an adventure - YEA!
afterward, we'll be partying until the sun comes up for the very last time at Hal's studio - yeayeayeayea!
er.. yea to the power of yeayeayea!

Everyone is invited. It's just a tough route with some hills and some windy roads, so I wouldn't recommend it to first-timers or people who don't ride often.

You seem like a nice guy, Hal. Since you are affiliated with it, I must assume that this ride must not be part of the Core Elite (R) so I am therefore giving you a pass.
I am just concerned that the Core Elite (R) threatens the cohesion of the Midnight Ridazz. As the founding fathers would attest, FACTION is a dangerous thing, especially within a rapidly growing organization.
But we'z all RIDAZZ, and we'z all here to have FUN or F-U-N, and be as inclusive as possible in doing so. I hope i see you on the ride, Hal, and when i do...will you rub my belly?

“Change means movement. Movement means friction. Only in the frictionless vacuum of a nonexistent abstract world can movement or change occur without that abrasive friction of conflict.”
