hi there, im in the west los angeles area, and where is a good place to rent some bikes for a gal friend of mine for some slow social casual rides so i can introduce her to the biking world?

any ideas?

do you want to introduce her to the "biking" world or to the "midnight ridazz" world?

cuz if you ask me, those are 2 different, although related, things.

a slow casual ride like a critical mass or a crank mob event

not one of these other rides where everyone still seems to go fast
im always near the end on these ones


so any other places recommended in the area?

i will check out bike ambulance

Buy her a cheap bike from craigslist.. You can always get womens road bike on the cheap side there.. If she doesnt like it you can always re-sale it back on craigslist.

i would rather rent a good quality one and not deal with selling it afterwards, or anything like that, or even meet and deal with sellers at the moment, just want something quick so i dont have to deal with it for the ride, i have too much junk in my garage as it is

ill probably contact bike ambulance and see whats up,

but if anyone has any more suggestions on shops, im all ears!
