You can always do what I did at the last alleycat/cyclocross that I went to and say that you finished first in your division. In my case, "older dude with a heavy bike". Sometimes it's fun just to participate.

yeah hes cool the only thing that happenned was his front rim got all messed up.I almost hit that same sidewalk part myself.Very Unoticable sidewalk.

Hey we fucked up alot on this ride and didnt even finish all the stops..but it was fun as hell..I just did my route on pedometer and this is what it looks like..funny..and lots of backtracking ;)..i should really bring a map next time..

yeah i didn't know the route either. I met a guy before the race started that had the route all mapped out. We were going to ride together but he fell on the second turn. I ended up following somebody else. we missed one stop but it was damn fun anyway. Interesting things i remember seeing:
1. girl ran a red to keep up with her group and caused a car to skid.
2. guy merged into a left turn lane with a car coming up behind him; car slowed super fast to avoid hitting him.
3. guy hit his front brake a little to hard, he started going over the bars, but got out of his straps and landed on his feet, reached back and caught his bike before it hit the ground.
4. a rider got pulled over by cop
5. a guy with two pitbulls yelling at a skater, i thought he was going to sick his dogs on the kid.
6. 12 backward circles.

i saw that rider go down pretty hard and hope hes ok but it was a great race
