Cubcamp year two has officially started and this year plans to be more amazing than ever before. The future-past has shown us how much F.U.N. there is and we want to share it with you!
I know, maybe last year you didn't get out to all the rides, you might have failed a term paper or two after cubcamping, you lost your girlfriend, or wife... Naturally those are all bad things.. but don't worry cubcamp has you covered!!!
This year, you can make up for lost rides/time with our new trademarked CUBCAMP EXTRACREDITS system!! These rides will be designed to impress, distress and infest! And after finishing you'll be awarded exclusive CCEC points redeemable for prizes of innumerable value!!

tandem in ojai is fine. the only thing you would have to worry about are the climbs on pch.

Some of you may know that I've got a knee problem that i'm trying to heal....
However, I'm still planning to do extracredits if,
a) my knee's status improves by next week
and
b) there's a road bike for me to borrow (hopefully not steve3's... I was originally planning to do it on my fixie, but I'm pretty sure that that bike is contributing to my knee's condition)
or,
c) you guys need someone to drive sag wagon (and pay for my gazz)

or you could ted shred it if its a brakeless freewheel.
a sag car or whatever is a good idea if you guys are bringing sleeping bags and whatnot. extra clothes will be good because it gets cold up here at night. like low 40s high 30s.

For all of ya'll going to Ojai, I don't know what you're planning on riding, but the road between Ojai and Santa Paula is really nice and scenic. You could make it a back and forth just on that section (beware much more uphill from Santa Paula back to Ojai) or you could make one bigger loop going from Ojai to Santa Paula, then something like telegraph road over to where route 33 bike path take off north from PCH up back to Ojai.

I was thinking the same thing e-rock! Maybe we can take turns driving if you're able to ride by this weekend! I want to do as much riding as I can, but I know that I'm not back to 100% yet... this would work out great I think.

Saturday i climb Latigo and Sunday i may be doing a century in the valley so can't go to Ojai. But i'll be doing the Santa Barbara double century on the 26th and 27th and will think fondly of David Tyler Hume. And Lemmy.

seriously though, bring tents and sleeping bags if youve got them. i have a three person tent that we can put up, and an air mattress to put in it. if youre riding on saturday morning, put it all in erocks car. if youre coming from santa cruz, leave it all in whatever vehicle youre coming in.

we ordered dominoes and marcus answered the door/paid for food while wearing the pizza costume. the delivery guy dropped a pizza and then wouldnt give him a hug.
