now that I roll with my stop motion camera on I capture crimes and assholes alike. here is a plate of an asshole driver. she looked about 60 years old and was honking non stop at myself and Annie as we road up silverlake blvd. tailgating us dangerously close and reving by as I caught her license plate.
every once in a while I will post to this and if anyone else catches a license plate post it here too...

Both tailgating and honking the horn like this are both traffic violations. I didn't know about the horn thing until about a couple of weeks ago.

yeah not only that I got out of the way and she braked on me as I came up from behind. we were in the road more than usual because of cracks and broken concrete on the right... 6buy697

I like calling 911 when i see an asshole driver (even if i'm in a car) and saying he/she was driving while drunk. At least they'll get some heat from the popo. The cops seem to react more quickly than if you call to complain about a bike vs. car incident. hohum.

I saw them swerving and crossing the line of the road. Not sure, but i think i saw a bottle or can in their hand.

would be pretty unfortunate if this person was spotted more than a few times driving drunk.... yuk yuk

shows you a cheap and easy way of making sandburrs to flatten tires on the go.
i dunno, have a handful of these in your pack or something.
someone should try this and see if it works.

I like this program that the Missouri Bike Federation has,
http://mobikefed.org/motoristcontact.html
For asshole behavior not quite worth filing a police report or as a supplement to cantacting the police, you give them the driver's license plate number. They send them a letter explaining cyclists' right to the road, and keep their information on file, providing evidence against them if they do something to another cyclist.

SUCH A WEALTH OF INFO CONTAINED WITHIN YOU GUYZ, I'D NEVER ASSUME THIS TO BE POSSIBLE, CONSIDERING THAT WHEN WE RIDE TOGETHER, VERY RARELY DO I GET SOME INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION,
YA I KNOW, IT'S PROBABLY ME, BUT THEN IT REALLY TAKES TWO TO FIGHT.

I almost got demolished just now on my way back to work after a lunch break. Some bitch in an off-white PT Cruiser just blew through a 4-way stop, full speed, (i'm assuming she scanned for cars but not cyclists) making me break so hard i'm surprised I didn't fly over my handlebars. Missed by a couple of inches. She gave me a half assed "oops" kind of wave in the rear view and then sped off as nearby children screamed "learn how to drive, bitch!". First digits of her license plate is 5ZX. I already reported it to the Burbank police. I figure even though nothing came of it, something definitely could have... so ass hole behavior should be reported regardless.
