so im riding down ventura blvd when this car is like trying to run us over then stops saying we spit at his car thier is like 3 people in this car 1 person comes out and starts screaming at my friend and my friend is like calm down we didn't do nothing then i go over and im like chill dude let's just drop it then a his wanna be gangster armenian friend comes out and tries to steal my bike im like holding my bike as hard as i can him he punches me in the face with a ring in his finger and i completly blank out and my friend get's thier licence number and they leave the scene licence number 6cdy286 they were such dicks im bearly 16

FUCK THOSE BITCHES!!! Good thing your okay. Keep a look out when you feel something is not right. Eventually those fuckers will get caught.

Please file a police report for assault and battery.
It's not hard, and since you've got the license plate it should be fairly straightforward.

if you got the license, you should (but really you need) to file a police report. If you are a minor and get hit by an adult, not only can you claim assault and battery, the charges can increase since you a minor. Obviously I wasn't there and if the story unfolded as you claimed it did, it's a pretty easy case of assault and battery. The only problems that might arise are if you did something that would cause the attacker to "act in self defense" and/or other mitigating circumstances that could warrant the attacker to act the way he did. But if the story you have is accurate and your friend is a witness, this is something you need to report because people like that need to be held accountable for their actions. Best of luck.

oh yeah, and if they tried to hit you with their car, that can add assault with a deadly weapon. The best thing is to file the police report and see what the police can do.

yeah i waited thier for the police the polce were real nice. i filed a report and thier out finding the guy.i told my parents and thier just happy im okay my dad is gna call his lawyer in the morning so my parents are going to press charges. im like 16 im super schronny and the guy socks me he didn't go after my friends cause they were bigger but i told my friends not to do nothing cause thier was anothe guy in the car i didn't know what weapos they could of had in the car

Also, don't assume because you filed a report and got the plates that this is a slam dunk case.
MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW UP WITH THE COPS.
Call the particular station to find out if a detective has been assigned to the case yet and what their name is. Ask for their direct number and call them up to find out if anything is being done. If no detective has been assigned, ask to speak to the "D-3" or a watch commander and have them follow up.

Way to go SharkBoi, good job holding on to your ride and making sure you got the plate. Keep up with the cops and you might get some justice.
These types of incidents are far too common these days we gotta make sure the cops take us seriously when we get assaulted by angry drivers
If nothing happens with your case keep posting here and we will bring this incident to the city council and the police commision next time we storm the bastille. Write down what happened when now while its still clear in your head.
If you complain to the office of the inspector general about your case they will make sure the cops explain what they are doing about it.

fixed blade is illegal to carry its a felony. if anything carry now before your 18 then u gotta get a folding knife, there are alot of sick ass folding knives like coldsteel and tops knives! i roll with a blade all the time and only to be used in a life or death time not to pull to scare someone. the blade ONLY comes out to take a life or cut some food packages open nothing else. Some say carry a gun, i say fuck that if u r gonna risk jail time maybe life in jail u may as while feel the life live someones body from the blade u hold in them, not a shot u fired from 10 ft away, as for the valley i fucking cant stand those dam ARMO perfume wearing sand wiggas. just be careful out there

Waiting sucks. It does not hurt to call the station and ask if any one is on it yet or if their is a specific investigator/detective assigned to it yet so you can ask them about the case directly. Just be polite and tell them you're really concerned and trying to follow up.

i second both of those last comments. be annoying, but also be polite and sincere. you did the right thing, which is going to work out best for you. just make sure the police know you are expecting them to figure this out in a reasonable amount of time.
