We used to meet the X Friday of every month but that started to coincide with Sins and Sprockets. It eventually became the NELA ride to the S&S and then it died.
If you want to start an NELA CM just post it on the right ----->
And thus you become the newest NELA CM organizer.

Actually I am organizing a ride on the same night NELA/S&S were were riding (Sept. 19th) and wanted to see if there were interested in joining up to make an ultra-power force of PIRATES.

Um, er, uh...
In regards to strgazermel's question. I guess technically it was I that once "Organized" the NELA CM. Or at least I started it.
The year was 2005, it was Bike Summer, love was in the air, bikes were everywhere, riding at midnight was something that happened only once a month, on the second Friday of the month in Echo Park. And more importantly: I wasn't a father yet, and the mortgage was easily being paid.
So as responsibilities piled on, I couldn't make the rides, and stopped promoting them. Anyway, it's not like LA is missing any rides. This site is proof of that.
Besides, from all the hooting and hollering I heard outside my window last week, Tuesday's NELA ride is the place to be. It must have been off-the-kickstand!
