I was expecting "hugely fucking enormous" and it was merely huge. Was it something we said?
It was still good, though. We came up with a nice pile of toys for the rug rats. That always feels good. Also plus too, I got a present!!!1!!!11!! Drew from San Diego presented me with a brand new one of those foldy cup things--not just a foldy cup thing, but a foldy cup thing ensemble! Sustainable boozing is on like Lincoln Fong!
Anyway, for those of you who showed up and brought your toys and whatnot, you made a banana very happy.

Last night while I was helping collect the toys many people asked me where would they go. I had no idea and I felt weird about that and so did the people who asked me.
Trickmilla told me "Toys for Tots". Is that correct? If it is I have a problem with that.
I have no doubt that the toys will be distributed to needy children but if it's from Toys for Tots they will be distributed by US Marines in uniform. No offense to my US Marine vets bike buddies but I don't want little children brainwashed that Santa is a soldier. I'd rather tell them that Santa rides a bike.
More info on Toys for Tots
here
Since the Fire Dept was collecting the toys I think it probably wasn't Toys for Tots but it was LAFD's
Spark of Lovetoy program and I'm fine with that.

I was under the impression this was a toy drive for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire fighters and a Santa Claus distributes toys to families who are in need or have suffered a catastrophic event, (fire, head of household job loss, etc).
I believe this is a better image for kids anyway, fire fighters are always the unsung heroes of our society.

BTW, that was so cute how everybody was exchanging spoke cards all night. "Ooh, can I have one of your Hollywood cards?" "I'll give you a Long Beach one for a NELA one." "Here, have a West Side card, they're hand-colored!" What a bunch of fucking nerds. <3<3<3

Just because no one would trade with you, doesn't mean you should pick on the cool kids. Maybe you should re-evaluate who the 'nerd' must be.

Please shoot me one of those sweet Hollywood spoke cards, for the arvchive I am starting. Thanks!
P.C. gave me a Long Beach card (the ride I actually did), Skidmarcus gave me two West L.A. cards (as each was unique) and Tern gave me a East L.A. card already.

Thanks to all that put out alot of time and effort to make this thing happen. Especially deesimple, trickmilla, Mr. Raymond and all you others behind the scene. A big big THANK YOU to Self Help Graphics for getting behind us and supporting us. I hope we left your place cleaner than what we found it. If we left on good terms, can we use you guys as reference next year?
Really I think we are a tribe that likes to stay outdoors, even if the party's inside. Next year I hope we can do it all outside. Doesn't matter if it's Under Spring or somewhere else, we rock it outside!
And lastly a BIG UP to everyone that was from out of town that came to roll with us! It was such a treat to see all you guys and girls roll up. You ridazz freakin rule!!! You made the ride happen!!!

Definitely big thanks to you organizers and volunteers, Deesimple, Trickmilla, Mr. Raymond, and all the musicians and ride leads. I hope the night was memorable for all!
Also for the westside card helpers I really wanted to thank you personally, Mixtemotions, Kathryncubcakes, Fuzzbeast, Steveo4, Richtotheie, Spiraldemon, Cabhauler, Roger and I am not sure if you colored any but also Kyber, KatacyclesNY2LA, Stevestevesteve and GarySe7en. These guys all colored the cards and should be loved, appreciated and showered in accolades too! To those that have one, you should be able to find who colored it written in color on the card.
Richie and I had a blast driving the "PaceCar" for the ride. Not only did allow us to carry more and larger presents, it also freed our hands and lungs to make even more noise! Thanks AlexThompson for the megaphone!
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL UNIQUE AND SPECIAL SNOWFLAKES!!!

Many Dee and Mr.Ray cannot be thanked enough for all the behind the scenes work AND hooking up the loot to put this on.
This simply would not have happened without them.
There is way too many to thank but most have been listed above so let me just say I love Midnight Ridazz moe today than yesterday but not as much today as tomorrow...
@ Marino: sorry I was handing out bad information during my DJ set I was uninformed about the exact name of the charity and was trying to decide if the ridazz wanted metal, new wave, or booty bass.

PS: Anybody know the girl in black to the right of the guy with the yellow shirt? She rode the ride and was taking photos like crazy. She said she was "working" but wouldn't really say who for. I don't need any info on her. But if you know her; tell her she owes us some pictures posted on the site.
I'm just sayin,

I'm sure some of you saw the news awhile ago regarding Self Help Graphics. It looks like they've lost their building due to some fucks that could careless about keeping it going, and the child abuse scandal that's rocked the Catholic Archdiocese.
The Archdiocese did not notify Self Help that the building was for sale or pending sale. "Given our organization's close history with the Catholic Church, we are shocked and dismayed that not only were we not afforded the opportunity to purchase the building, this deal was conceived in secrecy," said Armando Duron, Self Help Graphics & Arts board of directors president.
From their site,
Press Conference Announcement.
Barring a miracle, (pun intended), I doubt the artists that call this site theirs will have reprieve from this decision. Sure we could root them on, but I think now is the time to look at plan B for our toy drive this December.
A birdie told me that
Under Spring @ Farmlab would be an awesome place to have our shindig. So I would think the sooner we ask about this, the better position we'll be in getting it.
