This Hustle shit is still going week after week.... and I'm starting a new thread because tonight is a full moon which is always a special night for our ride, but in particular tonight is a special once in a lifetime convergence between the universe and our ride.... The Winter Solstice, a Full Moon and a Lunar Eclipse visible from LA......
According to the the folks at NASA this convergence will not happen for another 84 years: "Since Year 1, I can only find one previous instance of an eclipse matching the same calendar date as the solstice, and that is 1638 DEC 21," Chester said, according to NASA. "Fortunately we won't have to wait 372 years for the next one which will be on 2094 DEC 21."
...and it won't be on a Monday.
YES, it's probably going to be raining tonight, but Wolfpack Hustle has never canceled for anything let alone rain.... In fact every rider in LA should be out there in the rain everyday simply because we get so little of it. 88% of the 1st world should be this lucky to have our weather!
So ride (wet!) with pride and come out to ride with us tonight! The route is going to be shorter and we will be attending the Griffith Observatory Lunar Eclipse party. Astronomers will be on hand with telescopes rain or shine!

Congratulations on four solid years of hustle. User "Kakihara" and I are planning our own ride up to the observatory tonight to gaze at the stargazers and pretend that tonight's glorious celestial event isn't entirely obscured by clouds and rain...maybe wealll see you up there.

Hey where were you? Of all the wolves I thought fer sure you'd show.
I managed to destroy my night rider lights and two batteries. I also destroyed my brakes and rims grinding the brakes on the way down to the observatory with all the sand and mud. But it was worth it.

Damn, seeing those pictures makes me bummed I wasn't there.
I was at home, trying to avoid destroying my NiteRider and ruining my rims.
Let me know if you need to borrow my extra NiteRider next Monday before I send it in for repairzz.

Hell yeah. Big turnout and 3 females showed up. Felt like old times. Route was short and sweet. We ran into Monday night rehab. I'm stoked. Next week I'm wearing spandex.

Yeah it was like old times. Do you have those photos of my bloody limbs? I used every band-aid in my house upon returning home and it would be nice to have something to show for it.
