when did it start?

I first saw moms on either the blues brothers or stuffed animal rides in the valley. I was impressed by one light-up vest in particular. I too, enjoyed pot and diy electronics.

They were originally a crew of four, bummed out hippies from HP who in mid-2008 needed to find something else to on a Saturday afternoon aside from playing video games.

idk, with all the shit thats been happening, you'd think something like would have already happened.
i remember a couple months ago, a bunch of cop cars followed around TNS for the entire night.
like one car would tail us, then he'd leave but immediately another car would swoop in from a different street and follow us.
they would park whenever we made stops.
it was RIDICULOUS.

if a cop is following the ride, just hop onto the bike path or other area that they cannot follow, maybe hit the local college or such. It's easier for us on the Westside, we can hit the beach a be off the radar.

what we ended up doing was hanging out on a fwy pedestrian overpass until they got bored and left.

I have been followed once ... going back to my house in the valley .. this cop was determined to follow me close enough that I would make a wrong move or something ... Im sure the massive leaf on my back and the person I was with had a lot to do with it ...

of all places in America, LA is pretty pro MJ....Ive been on mom rides all the time and I've never seen cops busting shit for the herb leaf. Personally i think its dope to promote who you are and what you stand for....cause that's not illegal.
I know you recently moved to the area Kims....and I would defiantly suggest coming out on mom rides....always fun, and you even get a sweat which is always nice.

Never had any problems with the cops with my vest on.. Even if they did say anything or pat me down it helps that I have my medical MJ card..

I remember the first time I saw a MOM ridda.. I was like who are these drunk/high mo fos biking around these rides.. Then I started hanging around them and going to there rides.. Next thing you know, I became a MOM ridda..
I wouldn't never thought I would become one when I first started riding..
It's one of the best thing to be part of and I have no regrets joining those crazy mother fuckers..
Just get to know us and come to our rides.. Were just cool chill people who ride bikes together... Sometimes hold hands with each other..... Wait.. I mean... You guys arnt supposed to know that....

I remember when Groats mom actually stepped up and sewed my mom ridazz patch on for me at one of the mom ridazz patch making days. Just FYI, MOM stands for Mad on Marijuana or Millions of Moms or Matt on Monday, make up anything you want.
In all honesty Mom Ridaz stands for sister/brother hood and having fun. Make up any acronym you want we always stay together and we like to have fun.
