Staples for Laminating Spoke Cards

Someone recently posted the fact that Staples will laminate an 8.5 x 11 sheet for 99 cents.
I just got back from there, where I laminated the Dark century cards. 99 cents for 5 mil material. Its the best deal I have found (when I can't get to Roller's machine).
I took Skidmarcus' advise too, and used the Kinko's laminator with my on plastic for free in the past, but I decided its better to stay liget and have the flexibility of buying only the number of sheets I need as opposed to buying a 20 pack and then going to Kinko's.
As a bonus, the Staples I went to in Long Beach INVITED me to bring my bike in and stow it in an empty check out booth. Now that's customer service!

if your REAL slick, you can go into kinkos and yoink the laminating sheets in 10mil, then bus it over to staples, and have it done for 99 cents.
(this works particularly well in Santa Monica, where a kinkos and staples are across the street from one another.

yeah but i am not going to .... i am against stealing ever since i got banned from 7-11 for it even though it wasn't me it was my friend...thats a dude and i wasn't even with him at the time

side note:
Lakeshore learning center at venice and national has 3mm laminating for $.29 a foot. before you say that's too thin, i'm thinking if you have card stock to print on, it could be the same as 5mm with regular paper

yea i do have the lamination sheets...but bruh to be honest i have no idea what the thickness of it is...we use them for our id cards and they are pretty sturdy

Does anyone have spokecard making hook up? Whether it be printing or laminations? I need to make spokecards for tomorrow night's ride and I'm a bit low on funding. I'd rather not go to Kinko's or Staples and pay much.

I have a laminator for anyone out there that needs to make spokecards. I don't mind it being passed around since it just sits and takes up space under my desk. All i ask is that people take care of it, replace it if it breaks, and don't hog it. Make sure others can use it.

Last time i went to staples I had to walk out.
They were trying to charge me 2x for card stock for a 2x sided print.
Everywhere I have ever been including staples has 1 price for copies and (ie. .7¢ a copy) and a surcharge for cardstock (ie 10¢) well the "associate" there decided that it should be 34¢ (17¢x2) for double sided instead of what the whole universe does (copy+copy+cardstock= 24¢) shit drove me nuts I had to leave.
This was at the staples by the bike kitchen (Vermonica) and I've done lots of sopkecards there, and never had this problem.

Hey chynna i gave the laminator to raquel to use. You can get it from her. Just make sure whoever needs it next knows you have it and knows to pass it on to whoever else needs it. Dont hog it.

at the very least you guys should go in as a group and buy the sheets for $18 above and divvey them up. the machine is really cheap too...
