hehe Tekmo is correct. The securities will kick you out of the central plaza if they see you riding your bike, or just loitering. They know every wednesday is KTWed's so they expect it. They usually don't say anything near coffee bean though since it's close to the bus stop and the streets. BUT if they really wanted to be assholes they can kick us out onto the sidewalk and being reluctant to do so, makes them call the police. lol
It's happened before, but as long as everybody respects the property, it's all good...

They used to get REAL mad when we used to have the meetup location in the back by the metro elevators. Had the owner of the building personally come on his motorcycle and kicked us out... probably because of the stench of weed...hehe

Kush-Town is not a crew. Kush-Town is a ride just like any other ride here on MR, but maybe just a bit different. For example we don't judge riders. You come to our ride, and you're welcomed and recognized from the moment you arrive. You have a problem with KUSHTOWN you go to our ride and address it to all of us.
Some of the punks yelling out kushtown are people who've only attended our ride a few times and feel like they can associate themselves without, for the simple fact that they enjoyed our ride and feel a connection with it. Every ride has their chants. What's the difference between people chanted LACM, or CRANK MOB, or any other ride for that matter. If you have something to address to the KTOWN ride, attend the ride. I will be happy to give you the spot light and have everyone listen to what you have to say without being attacked or feeling alienated from everyone. haha
Im serious too. You can hold a meeting with us. Enlighten us with your years of riding experience. Please tell us everything we should know so that we can ACCEPTED...haha

I'm a regular rider, I attend all kinds of rides and I get a long with many of the people from MR. I've been attending these rides for about 2 years now. Shit started getting crazy about 5 months ago or so. Long after I started attending these rides. You don't know me to say that PEOPLE LIKE ME will be the demise of MR. Unless that was a racist statement, just as your other comment on the DOWNFALL of MR thread. And if that's the case, it will be people like you that will be demise of MR. Why? Because to solve this problem, you have to get unite everyone and get everyone on the same page. Instead, what you're doing is classifying people, segregating them and putting labels on them.. That will only amount to disputes. The way you're trying to go about to solve the problem is not going to solve anything.

You preach all this good stuff yet you just stood there and told ur friends in spanish that they were just silly white people!

haha dude, I hate speaking spanish, I terrible at it. You will never hear a racist remark from me. EVER. If my friends were harassing people and I was standing there laughing, then it must have been funny. I have a pretty good sense of humor. But you WILL NEVER see me harassing people personally.
I laugh about inviting you to the ride, because I think it's funny. And like I said, I assure you nothing will happen to you. Why? Because we're good people open to discussion - at least me and other organizers are. I'm not going to stand up against my friends because I see nothing wrong with what we do. We ride. We chill. We have a good time. Nothing wrong with that.
As for all that shit like stealing I don't condone and don't allow at the rides, but it doesn't stop people from doing it.Graffiti, I don't condone at the RIDES, but I won't stop people from doing it.

How far do you carry this "don't judge" attitude? If the kid who stabbed another rider on Crank Mob shows up to your ride, do you welcome him? If people start showing up to your ride on bikes that were stolen from your friends, do you welcome them? If someone stabbed another rider during your ride, would you welcome them back?
Your ride got a bad reputation from the start because you didn't do anything to reign in the kids who were tagging and stealing from other riders then
riding around carrying those stolen wheels during your ride. If you won't stand up to the assholes who are stealing
on your ride, don't be surprised if people are mad at you for it. It may be unfair that your reputation gets damaged by little would-be thugs shouting out the name of your ride as if it were a crew, but don't forget that you also earned a large chunk of that bad reputation through your actions (or inactions, as the case may be).
Also, when the Forge 'n Gorge ran into the group at Vermont/Wilshire a couple months ago and confronted one of the kids (user REPIN213) about riding on City Hobgoblin's stolen wheels, was that the Kushtown ride? (and if not, do you know of another ride that meets at Vermont/Wilshire on Wednesdays?) If it
was your ride, do you welcome the riders who were shouting at the kid to not tell CH where the wheels came from? If it
wasn't your ride, would you welcome these kids who were harboring thieves (or perhaps were the thieves themselves?).

We welcome any rider. There's no way for me to tell if someone who attends our ride stole his bike unless he tells us directly. I don't walk around asking everyone where they got their bike. If they come to our ride, we should respect and recognition, unless he disrespects the ride.
As for the incident that occured with Forge 'n Gorge, I don't know much about. I was not there that night. I only heard about it through friends, and through the forums. The guy who was accused of stealing those rims that night came on the MR forums and tried to justify himself. I don't know him, so I'm not going to worry about that. Ain't my scandal.
I clearly understand that me and the ride have a bad rep. For reasons known and unknown. And I accept it. And we had a heated debate about it, and many dropped it. I dropped it. But I'm always up for discussion.
I do believe that it's unfair that my rep and our ride's rep was destroyed due to the individuals that fucked it all up, but it is was it is.
People can be mad at me all they want, that shit isn't going to change anything. It's immature. All I can say for those that are holding a grudge against me is GROW UP.
As for the stabbing? I don't know what to tell you, don't know the cats... so if they attended our ride, I would not know who they are...
But if they did, I wouldn't care..they wanna ride, they can ride with us. We don't judge. Just as long as they keep that shit in GTA

I see people harass other people at other rides ALL THE TIME. It's funny to me. Not just friends of mine, but other people as well... ITS FUNNY. I think it's funny that people bring that kind of shit into bike rides.
If i get my bike jacked I'll by laughing too, because that means they caught me slipping. I NEVER leave my bike unattended, and when I do I lock it up, yet there's always that slight chance that I can get jacked. I'm fully aware of it. So all I can say to the bike thiefs is... GOODLUCK! my bike isnt worth shit either way.. so idk haha.. maybe the cinelli hexa handle bars are worth something but that's about it..
You can call me anything you want. If it makes you feel better about yourself go ahead. :) I encourage it...

Oh you shouldn't really worry about my actions. I think I'm a pretty considerate ride. I respect all riders and I show love for the bike scene. I clean up after myself and my friends for the most part. I'm probably one of the nicest riders you'll meet...
What you should be worrying about is that people fucking it up for everyone else. If you've been to KUSHTOWN these past few months, you'll feel completely different about it by the end of the night. And like I said, we don't judge people... so if YOU came, I wouldn't judge you for any of this..
KUSHTOWN now isn't the KUSHTOWN it was the first few weeks it started. It's actually the chillest ride I've ever been to. And most of the people who go now, say the exact same thing..and they aren't the GANGSTERS you guys seem to think we're filled with. They are regular people on bikes who attend rides like taco tuesdays, and crank mob..
It's addicting actually..
You should really check it out... before judging it

my first one was last week, it was fun! everyone was chill to everyone else from what i could see
my only gripe was that we were out pretty late so i had to ditch out around 12:30 due to work the next day, definitely gonna' try to make it this wednesday too!

k town is the best ride i've been on. Everyone is so open and just out to have a good time and chill with friends. Maybe everyone should stop talking all this shit and come out to a ride and c how much fun we have. I'm 100% sure u'd change the way you feel about kush town. We ride for fun and we ride with friends. Stop bitching and go on the ride. : )
