What kind of stuff do you find while cycling?

I stop for cash. Not petty cash, mind you. It has to be at least a nickel.
I spot coins early in the day or late in the afternoon. The sun has to be at an angle for me to see the glint.
This drawer dosen't look like much, but there is over $10 in there and it represents the last 2 years.
Anybody know a store where they accept a bunch of chewed up coins?
So what do other ridazz stop for?

One time in Sacramento I stayed out all night partying and spent the night at a friends house. I didn't want to let her know that I spent all my money partying that night. So here I was Sunday morning no way to get back home. I started looking for money around on the streets in front of the nightclubs around there. Sure enough, I found a wand of dolla bills! It was a 5 and two ones. Took me about 15 minutes to find some money. It helped that it was about 9am too.
Oh yeah, this was on my bike and I got home on the light rail.

I found $17 once in Hollywood all spread around in the middle of the intersection. It was awesome.

I find pages ripped out of porn mags all the time. When I was 15 I'd stop and take a closer look. Now I just wonder who the fuck is out there throwing porn out of their cars.

Tool find Day, the days you find tools is a good day for a ride. I've found all kinds of tools-wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, sockets, hammers, etc. The best Tool Find Day was a chrome Matco 3/8 drive swivel ratchet

When was driving for Swift, I was switched out of a Volvo and into a Freightliner.
I found a box of fresh road-flares and a sweet, military flashlight in the side-box.
Then, while climbing towards the cross on top of that mountain near Chiriaco Summit off the 10, I found a purse full of poetry near the cross.
Now that was a little freaky, I pulled my knife and readied my U-lock in case things got a little squirrely.

I don't seem to find much the last time I was riding. It seems you have to be going 11mph or less to spot things.
I always found stuff when I was going to beauty school and would give them to bigsexxy, flowers, key chains, and I can't remember what else, but I always had something from the ride to school. I found some guys id and I gave it to one of the younger girls in class to use as a fake ID, (the guy look nothing like her) I thought the gesture was humorous, she didn't think it was funny and gave it toJane to give back to me.
I found a bunch of table saw blades at the top of Beverly Glen, that sat there for two months, before I came with a car and picked them up. Too heavy and pointy to carry in my backpack.
So much more I found. I'll list it when it comes to mind.

Speaking of sharp things, I often find shiny bits of glass, which my tires helpfully pick up to save for later. I need to find a way to get my tires to do this with cash.

Any time I take the dirt, or less-traveled roads out here, I run across endless amounts of shell-casings.
Not so much hunting, but plenty of plinking and such.

Down around the old South Central Farm, I found a bunch of scratched up polaroids of kids opening Christmas presents, one of which was an oldskool Nintendo. Sitting in the background was an older guy (grandpa, I assume), dressed in a 70's era polyester suit, complete with wide lapels and clashing yet oddly classy brown and blue stripes. I could only wonder what year this was, and who discarded those happy memories, and why.

i find tennis balls near tennis courts. I used to find lots alongside the BEVERL HILLS HIGH SCHOOLT tennis courts when i used to bike commute to the fox lot when i worked at the fox lot (the devil and evil uncle Murdoch). I'd pick up the farely new tennis balls for my four legged companion: Blue. I found 5 dollars outside in the TRADER JOES (La Brea & Third) parking lot once. That was a half gallon of carrot juice and a cliff bar right there.

Wow, reading all the stuff others have found reminded me of a coulpe of other items I have come accross.
I found a huge pink dildo, which I didn't keep or photograph.
I found two polaroids of some guy masterbating (before and after). I tore those up.
When I find porn (pretty often), I always stop and tear it up. I remember finding that shit when I was a kid and the trouble I'd get into when my mom found it in my room. Porn damages children's brains. I like to prevent that when I can.

I found the good life while riding my bike.. also inspiration for endless amounts of art..
once I found a wallet while biking up to school on the upper east side of manhattan. there wasn't any money but when I gave the lady her wallet back (via her business card in the wallet) she sent me a bunch of cases of poland springs water cuz she worked for them..
I also found $15 on the street a few weeks ago on a ride...

once I found an air hockey table but I didn't have any way to get it home :(

I went riding at 4am one day just because. I didn't go very far, but I found a jesusload of porn just thrown on the street on Hyperion. Most of it was gayporn and really old. I found this funny, and at that time I had a basket, so I overloaded my basket with the cool porn I could find. I still have some. I'll post pictures when I find them.
Oh and I was on my way home from one of my first rides when I spotted a really cool table on the sidewalk. I stopped and put that shit on my back and rode the rest of the way home with it.
