This June Gloom made anyone else sick??

Ever since the temperatures dropped last, Wednesday, so have mine.
I know I didn't run into much sick people, let alone healthy people, and I've had a runny nose, sore-throat, and light-headedness since then.

all I know is that I am very thankful for the June gloom because without it my apartment would be 100 FUCKING DEGREES!

I was feeling better when my room was 100 FUCKING DEGREES, and the outside temp was 90, or something.
Victorville and the surrounding area is becoming less of a desert and turning into more of a tundra, akin to the flat-lands of southern Idaho.

Still no weather change.
Fox11, Weather Channel and my immune system say fog/overcast for the LA Basin until the weekend.
Equates to 40-50 degree temp up here with the winds at 30-40mph.
Went out for a 20 mile, out and back yesterday, then the gym.
Woke up this morning feeling cold and sniffling.

come on, enjoy the june gloom. not too hot, not too cold. perfect riding weather. get all your good hard rides in before the heat kicks in.

Well, I'm not having any hallucinations and I was going top speed a few, short weeks ago when the temps shot up to 90, 110, etc.,

Up here in Santa Barbara, I love June Gloom. That's what made it possible to contain the Jesusita Fire. I live about a mile from the mandatory evacuation zone. FTW June Gloom!!!

A nice, warm fire sounds good right about now.
Time to reinstall the wood-burning stove, fuck the cold, I like getting BBQ'd.

I'll take cold anytime over having to breathe smoke and ashes for a week and having to stay up all night in case you're told to evacuate. I love June Gloom.

every-time there is a distinct shift in weather i notice a spike and people getting sick.
I personally love "june gloom" it a last chance for some mild weather and some fresh air before the hot and heavy summer air smothers us like a dirt blanket.

Only thing I'm going to be worrying about when it gets hot again are going to be all those suckers crying about how hot it is.
I'll toss 'em into the dairy freezer if they miss it that much.

Indifferent toward the gloom, but I'd prefer sunshine.
Not sick yet, but my allergies have been a BITCH.

yeah - I was talking to some co-workers about this and I think it's because with the higher humidity we've been having - that dust, pollen, and other particulates are hanging around in the air more by getting trapped in the moisture.
my allergies acted up back East but for the 7 years I've been out here I haven't had any issues 'til this year
