Hey,

All. I got a flyer for the "Name This F%&king ride" Ride, but I don't see any information about it on the site. The flyer says starting at 9:30PM on SAT, SEP 22... with satellites from Culver City, etc. What time does the satelite take off from Culver City?

 The ride is so happening. We'll have the actual name down in 24 hours - swear.

It will be this Saturday, when nothing else is happening north of Jefferson, so there's no excuse not to come. We'll post it in 24 hours but for now the basic details:

Start: Gather Saturday the 22nd at 9:30pm, ride at 10pm.
Location: Nebraska & Berkeley, Santa Monica [right at Bikerowave]
What it is: A fucking huge badass ride on the westside. This ain't your mom's Santa Monica Critical Mass - we go inland!

Oh yeah - and fuck Franz (you better vote Franzie poo)

 I do realize that. Will other regions kindly let the Westside know when we're allowed to have events? Next week is Interbike in Vegas - I better cancel all my solo training rides out of respect.

With all due respect LBC is too far away for that to be a serious consideration. This ride is supposed to be a fun enough ride that non Westside peeps will show, but it will ultimately consist primarily of locals (defined as people living within 6M(iles) of the start.) There's enough events now that any organizer who tries to coordinate that far away will be unable to schedule any ride.
