I haven't been getting out to the rides as much, but it was a great vibe last night and I'm glad I made it out. I went to the first Sins n Sprockets last year and met a few really cool people that I still hang out with.
More importantly, I'd like to thank the person that left the 1/3 full box of Red Sangria on top of the trash can at the Gold Line Station for me and Dee to consume around 2 in the morning. It was so good and gave us a good buzz. If we weren't so gangsta, we would have let the perfectly good box of Stranger Red Sangria sit there and gone home without a nice buzz.
I don't know why this looks so dark and shitty after uploading to youtube, but here is the same guy again singing Metalica, dancing and doing cart-wheels and stuff.
Kept me entertained all night.
Oh yeah, and South Central was ...............I'm not sure what to call it.
Being nearly taken out by a flying box spring (from a bed) was just strange as hell. Having random bottles land near me was weird. Picking up a white guy on rollerblades in South Central was weird too.
Ah fuck it!!
I had a great fucking time.
Thank you Sins and Sprockets!
You guys fucking rock!
Great ride last night, I had a blast. It felt great to be out skating again after doing so much biking lately. Yeah I was the white guy in South Central on rollerblades. I also brought with me the girl on quad skates. We were out in downtown for Friday Night Skate's bi-monthly downtown skate, which coincides with night Sins & Sprockets are out. I grabbed a SnS route map and contact number before the skate so I could track you guys down half way through the ride.
This was a great ride, the sins and sprocket crew is really organized and know how to keep everyone happy and together. Thanks again for welcoming us to your home and feeding us.
Last night was my first time and i had a blast!!!!!! My friends told me about the rides they've been on and I had to see for myself. They weren't kidding when they said it was awesome. I look forward to coming out with you guys again.
Charlie and the rest of the Gang did it again. Great route, well executed, good company, and good times.
Wine might be a bit too effete for the bad ass Sins and Sprockets image, but the craptastic quality of cheap boxed sangria seems to work. If the dollar store panniers hold up, it could be a regular feature. Though, I fear the slippery slope. I'll bet Big Bike Dan figured it would be fun to put his boom box on his rack one Friday night. Where will it end?
Great ride. Thanks for the hospitality Charlie and S&S's crew for the after party. Dang... you guys ride up that hill all the time? Thanks again for a great ride.
WOOWWHHH, lov it Spectacular ride route big Props to Laura once again I had wonderful time with ya all, after party and totally great people you are will you all again on next one.....peace -
I apologize to anymore I might have annoyed with my sloppy riding last night.Honesty I was more focused on my beer then the road and riders around me i will not be that rude and selfish in the future. The ride was awsome and last night was the first time I'v fallen on a ride which was fun (I'm the guy that fell like a block from the metro when we started.)It was cool seeing an area of LA I don't think I'v been to yet can't wait for the next ride.
I would normally never drive through a lot of those areas, but riding at midnight with all of yous has made me appreciate the city in a completely new way. I had a really amazing time!
