And thank god we didn't get taken out by that drunk driver on the way back to the meet spot! close one.

great ride tonite guys! thanks to the " ye olde brooklyn ride for riding with us tonite! guys we rode through almost half of the citys in the S.G.V. ! rosemead, san gabriel, south pasadena, alhambra, san marino, Elac, pasadena, and made a party stop at the colorado bridge. I think we did 44 miles today?
I'll be posting the pics in a bit.

Powering the Planet with Solar Fuel
Many research groups are trying to find efficient and economical ways of storing solar energy in chemical bonds. A major goal is to split water into its elemental components — hydrogen and oxygen — using solar-driven molecular machines that are designed to be even more efficient than natural photosynthesis. Great progress toward this goal has been made recently in work at Caltech on nanoscale water-splitting devices built from Earth-abundant elements.

attention 626 area riders: if anyone is planning to go to LACM and wants to go in a group? meet with us.
some of us will be meeting @ goldline mission stop between 5pm-6pm!
