Hey, I can't seem to find short 1" threadless stem, online shops or otherwise. Anyone have a used shiny chrome shortie road stem (26mm handlebars) and (maybe 7 or 8cm, but no bigger please) with a good deal of rise. I'm also looking for some mustache bars as well, but the stem is key! Thanks.

check out either profile or ritchey stems. they only come in 1 1/8 but they all come with a shim to reduce the size down to 1" you can usually get either for $40 or so.

threadless stem, not a quill. i'd prefer a 1", not a 1 1/8 with a shim.

yeah, I don't think you can add enough shims to a 1 1/8" stem to get it down to 1" anyway...

All the new stems are made to 1 1/8", that's the standard these days, but they usually come with a sleeve to fit the 1" stems. I have one on my bike and the sleeve isn't very noticeable.

Have you checked at the Kitchen? They have a whole drawer of stems, maybe an older 1" is hiding in there.
