There are open gutters here in Lagos, its where all the rain and sewage goes, like you can fall in them.
On my way out of my office today, we're driving and I see city workers in these waist deep gutters just emptying out the busy street's garbage and filth that falls into the gutters.
Its just pitch black trash and they're scooping it out. So I take my camera, they see me take my camera, and what do they do?
They all turn and smile, as if its the best day of their life. I roll down my window take my photo and give them some change. Even before I took my photo they were smiling. Its simply amazing, happiest people in the world.
